What type of artists/music does each House of Anubis kids you think like?
Such a fun question!! Here are my personal thoughts on the matter:
Nina: I think she's a country music fan, but more like the "country pop" type of genre. Think Kelly Clarkson, early Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, etc.. Probs also listens to a lot of Original Broadway Cast recordings
Fabian: Def an old-school rock type of guy. He's got that pretentious dad music vibe around him. Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, Eagles, etc.
Amber: She's a pop girlie without a doubt. During the 2010s, she was def a fan of the big names of the time, like Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Kesha, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, etc.. In the modern day, she's def a Sabrina Carpenter stan.
Patricia: We know her canonic music taste because she tells us outright, so old-school rock and roll, metal, emo-screamo, alternative pop. We know for sure she likes Sick Puppies and Indica, and I bet she also likes artists along the lines of Avril Lavigne, Paramore, Three Days Grace, Greenday, etc.
Alfie: He's a rap, hip-hop, and R&B fan for sure, just based on his S1 flow. During the 2010s, he was probably a massive Eminem and Kanye fan (before he went full N@zi), as well as all the old-school GOATs like Tupac, Biggie, etc.. Probs also likes artists like Aaliyah, Rihanna, and even Beyonce.
Jerome: He's lowkey the hardest to pin down for music taste, but I think he's secretly really into pop music but denies it till the day he dies. Similar taste to Amber, if I had to guess, but pretends to like music more along the lines of Alfie or Fabian
Joy: Another pop girlie for sure. I'm 100% confident she's a day-one Swiftie, and went through the fire for her in the reputation era. The week of the 2009 VMAs was a dark time for Anubis House, because she and Alfie nearly came to blows at every meal. think she also probs loves girl groups like Little Mix, the Spice Girls, Fifth Harmony, etc.
Mara: She's another hard one. I bet she likes indie pop a lot, but I can't think of any era-appropriate examples. But in a modern sense think like Phoebe Bridgers and artists of that ilk.
Mick: I think he genuinely just listens to whatever's on the radio. He likes a little bit of everything. He's easy to please music-wise.
Eddie: Basically the same as Patricia. We know he's canonically a metalhead, a rock fan, into the emo genre of music, etc.. I also think he probs likes most of what Fabian listens to, as well.
KT: I think she's also pretty well-rounded in her music taste, but if I had to guess, she's probs into a blend of Amber's and Joy's music tastes. Like Nina, she also loves showtunes, I don't make the rules.
Willow: Homegirl is probs listening to Celtic Women and the Mediaeval Babes, but she definitely enjoys some good old pop music from time to time.
