This was a puzzle I bought from marketplace recently. All the pieces are triangle shaped so it was very unique. It took me a bit to get a handle on it, but overall it was pretty fun. I watched Buzzfeed Unsolved while doing it so that helped.

This is the second puzzle with all but one edge missing. We started to do this right away when we got it, but my grandma couldn’t find the edges and said there wasn’t enough to finish the house and decided it wasn’t worth doing. I ended up counting the pieces to double check and I counted about 88, which meant that there shouldn’t have been much else missing besides the edges. So I decided I’d do it later when I had some extra time.

I’m not sure why I got this done so quickly. My grandma stuck to the edges, tried to sort the rest of the pieces a bit but didn’t get very far. She maybe did 20-50 pieces at the end when I got up the next morning.

I knew when we started on this one that it had most if not all of its edges missing, which we’d already discovered with a previous puzzle (that we were just gonna throw away, but I’ve decided to do later), but I guess my grandma had wanted to surprise me with this puzzle and have all the edges ready for me when I got up lol.

The box it comes with doesn’t even indicate that it’s a shape puzzle. My grandma searched through the pieces for the typical edges she’s used to and found only regular inside pieces and weird shaped pieces. I originally thought it was like Springbok and some other brands that just have weird pieces throughout so the edges don’t always look like edges. So it took us a bit to realise it was a shape puzzle.
