@theother-hawkeye
Anonymously tell me your feelings for me.
It doesn’t have to be romantic (though if you did feel that way, it’d be perfectly fine). Just how you feel in general. I get curious of people’s impressions of me.
Performance #1 / Taryn, Cassie, and Kate
"Yeah! Thirty seconds thirty seconds thirty seconds!" Taryn swung her keytar around her shoulder, and turned to her fellow band mates, counting down.
Then she started playing an electric melody on the keytar, and grinned at her friends as the ran onto the stage to screaming fans. She stopped at the last microphone. “Lately the weather has been so bipolar and consequently so have I!”
Cassie took a final breath before she ran out behind Taryn. She smiled widely as the crowd started screaming at her appearance. Waving, as she ran, she took her place beside Taryn, and grabbed the microphone from its stand.
"But theres something about tonight! Something really special! Something about the way you looking’ at me!"
It only took a few good strides until Kate was in the spotlight with the rest of her band mates. And as soon she was through counting down in her head, she joined in with the other two girls, matching their melody and bobbing her head along to the beat of Tayrn's electric keyboard.
Kate normally left the lyrics up to Tayrn and Cassie. But she had written the chorus to this particular song and it was her turn to press her mouth against the microphone.
"So just tonight I will stay, And we'll throw it all away. When the light hits your eyes, It's telling me I'm right. And if I, I am through, Then it's all because of you. Just tonight."
Kate Bishop flips off the press after last night's performance.
Raven raised an eyebrow, holding back a smirk as she watched the girl try to form a coherent sentence. “But maybe you could help me out here? See there’s a lot of fans between here and my tour bus. Screaming, overly dramatic fan girls just itchin’ to get their hands on me… Think you could escort me…” Raven nodded. “…hot security lady?” Raven paused. She wasn’t sure if she should walk away, or be incredibly impressed. The girl gave the appearance of being nervous and hesitant but Raven could sense something very different. ”Course, love. It is my job," she finally responded, flashing the performer a flawless smile, "Lead the way-"
"Sweet!"
Kate gave a quick thumbs up before whirling around and guiding the other woman in the general direction towards her tour bus. "So," she had never been too big on small talk but what else were they suppose to do during the rather lengthy stroll to the parking lot? "You gotta name? Or do you just want me to keep callin' you 'hot security lady'?" A playful smile crept up on Kate's lips as her eyes shifted over to look at her personal security escort.
“Clearly-” America smirked, “I assume the show’s been going well so far?”
"Yeah, yeah you could say that. Um, do I know you? Are you with one of the other bands?"
Soundin’ great, Chica!
"Well, you know, I aim to please."
Performance #1 / Taryn, Cassie, and Kate
"Lots of ‘em. And they’re here to see us.”
"This is so cool!"
Cassie stepped out from behind the curtain, pulling on her fingerless, leather gloves. Walking up to Taryn she peaked up from behind her. “Hopefully we can handle them and…..Holy! Thats a lot of people!” Just then their Manager walked by. “You girls are on in 30 seconds!”
"Alright girls." Kate rolled her neck to the side and cracked her knuckles to loosen her joints up before strapping on her trusty Gibson electric guitar. "Let's rock this bitch."
A brow inched higher on her forehead at the definitive assertion, finding herself somewhat boggled by it until the confusion was alleviated somewhat by the elaboration. The increasing number of people that had gathered at stage left having decreased the space between them, enough that the blonde willingly surrendered to the natural bend of her elbow, long fingers being shifted higher to rest against the juncture between the brunette’s neck and shoulder while eliminating the ever pressing need to speak louder to be heard over the music.
Verdant hues dipped in acknowledgement of the grand compliment, all efforts to quell the lazy smile that spread across her lips forgotten as she allowed her expression to bloom into something that bore hints of humility. Although not a stranger to kind words, it was often rare to bare witness to them being laid bare before her - one could almost call it refreshing. “I’m what has you nervous, dear?” The inquiry ostensibly timid - almost disbelieving - having heard the nature of the musician’s laugh, contradicted by the path traced by her unoccupied hand which moved to curl against the fabric of Kate’s shirt where the material rested against the curve of her waist, a glimmer of mirth sparking in the depths of moss green.
There was always something satisfactory about knowing that one could evoke such emotions from others; or maybe that was just her.
"Well," Kate could no longer suppress a more anxious chuckle than before. She'd been caught red handed. "Yeah," she bobbed her head up and down as an expansive grin took up almost fifty percent of her face. "Yeah, you are." There. Cat was outta the bag. Amora had been the first girl that got Kate to admit and embrace her shaky nervous. "Look, I'm usually a lot better at keeping my cool. I can be a real smooth talker and can almost always predict the outcome of the night the moment I have a woman locked in my sights. But tonight..." Kate trailed off and released another laugh into the air before steering her gaze towards the stage for a brief moment. "I dunno," an exasperated sigh fell from her loose lips as yet another ample smile etched it's way across her profile. "I guess I can't persuade you into coming back to tour bus after this last dance, can I?"
Come and get me. If you can. || Jean & Kate
Jean have a squeak of indignance as Kate wrapped her arm around the blonde’s wait and pulled her closer to her side. Though secretly, she didn’t mind at all. That was just an act on Jean’s part, part of the game, she was easy, playing hard to get. She nuzzles into the other musician’s small frame, a shit eating grin wrapped around her pretty lips, lips that would be working hard tonight. Jean’s eyes were wide as they approached the bus. The Kick Starters tour bus. That meant this was serious, or as serious as it was going to get. She bid a silent prayer, asking for the powers to give them privacy. There was nothing worse than a bus full of artists getting in on your mojo.
They were alone. Just the two of them. Jean swallowed hard and nodded, finding a padded bench seat, she fell onto the chair and leaned back. Her thighs trembled and she splayed her knees, there was no hiding it now. This was what she wanted. She watched as Kate pulled the shirt over her head, creamy mounds spilling from the fabric, Jean licked her lips. Oh, God. She sat forward, the apex of her thighs damp against the fabric of her panties. “You’re beautiful,” she groaned, and then stood, moving closer, her fingers gripping the straps of her dress, pulling them down over her shoulders.
"Huh. Don’t you guys usually wear a shirt with ‘SECURITY’ on the back in big ol’ yellow letters?" Kate’s nerves were shot and still trying to unwind themselves. It wasn’t every day that life pointed a gun at your head. "But it’s cool," she breathed. "It’s cool. I’m Kate, by the way. I’m with the ‘Kick Starters’." The brunette took a quick glance at her surroundings before she began questioning herself. "Am I in some sorta restricted area?"
Raven sighed, “Really play’n into the stereotype? If I walked around letting everyone know I was security, it would make it much harder to catch rule breakers, ya’ get me? …Although I guess a badge or somethin’ wouldn’t be for nothin’” She only half-listened to the girls explanation, a little disappointed that she wouldn’t get the chance to interrogate anyone. “Technically, but I won’t say anything… Suppose I can’t get mad at you for passin’ through.”
"Right," Kate bobbed her head up and down, indicating that she understood what the other woman was throwin' down. "Well uh..." She lifted a hand to anxiously rub the back of her neck as she chose her next words wisely. "I'm not breakin' any rules here. And I was just passin' through..." For cryin' out loud, Kate; she thought to herself. This whole playing 'innocent' ordeal to pick up women was getting pretty old, even in her book. But the woman who stood before her was just so damn- and it's really all security's fault for hiring such a hottie- And- Kate interrupted her own train of thought before releasing a nervous laugh out into the air. "But maybe you could help me out here? See there's a lot of fans between here and my tour bus. Screaming, overly dramatic fan girls just itchin' to get their hands on me... Think you could escort me..." Kate's eyes scanned the woman's shirt for a name tag of sorts but came up blank. "...dude?" No that wasn't the way to address a beautiful woman such as the one who stood before her. "...yo?" That wasn't any better. "...hot security lady?" Kate just kept digging herself an even deeper hole.
"Whoa. Hey." Kate rose both of her hands in the air so that they were visible to the woman pointing the gun in her direction. "What job might that be, exactly? And maybe you should fill me in on what you plan on doing with that gun? ‘Cuz if you’re lookin’ for a fight, I uh-...

I take my job incredibly seriously…

And maybe you should fill me in on what you plan on doing with that gun? 'Cuz if you're lookin' for a fight, I uh- I'm not too large with the butch."
"I get a bit confused sometimes. It happens "
"Yep that is my name. It sounds like Disney Villain name sometimes" Wanda replied with a half smile before it turned into a full grin at Kate’s words." Well shit. That was the most charming thing I’ve heard lately," I saw the guitar heard the music. Had to see who it belonged to. "
"Nah, I don't think it sounds like that at all. I don't think I've ever met another 'Wanda' before. It's a very unique name. A name that only belongs to a gorgeous woman such as yourself."
Kate felt a burning sensation creep up on her cheeks that caused her complexion to turn bright red. "Well there's uh... there's a whole lot more where that came from."
"And why would you want to impress me?" A faux-innocence lacing the question like a delicate arsenic, jewelled gaze glancing downward fleetingly before returning to that of her companion, cocking her head slightly as though contemplating the brunette’s reasoning. A hum of ascension rose from the back of her throat, being able to relate to the notion of wanting to enjoy your own company occasionally (or the company of another, were the mood to strike) despite a deep love for both of her band mates.
The minute pursing of painted lips proved a futile attempt to restrain the edges of her mouth from flicking upward to resemble anything beyond a gentle smile, the already-present flush on smooth skin due to the number of people that had gathered at the edge of the stage area, the strobe lights and the heat that emanated from the equipment hid the minor rouge that rose to the apples of her cheeks. “I bet you say that to all the girls, love,” the tone light, a teasing presumption that bared no humility, mirroring the flow of the music as its rhythm shaped the movement of those who danced to it - fluid twists and wave like movements - “Though I appreciate it all the same.” The amendment punctuated with a brief wink.
"No," Kate simply stated with as her eyes wandered upwards and her lips peeled back to reveal a coy smile. "Not all girls are like you. And trust me," Another anxious laugh had been released into the air before Kate returned her amorous gaze back to Amora. "I've seen some lookers and head-turners. I've had my fair share of women who think they're hot shit. But you..." Her sentence trailed off as her top row of teeth scrapped across her bottom lip. Damn, her nerves were shot. Not ever had Kate been this apprehensive about flirting with another woman before. "You're in a league of your own." And she hoped to God that Kate was somewhere on that scale, in that same particular league.
