The Cabin days
Here’s the actual article from Blender that accompanied the photoset I posted earlier. This was done in early 2007, the day before Ryan and the guys left for The Cabin™.
Highlights include Ryan being caught using a fake ID at a sushi place, working at Hot Topic as a teenager, loving Oscar Wilde and live theater, and being unnaturally obsessed with sandwiches.

what's your favorite thing about ryan ross?
honestly everything, but i’ll list off a few highlights:
when he personally got panic! signed to a label when he reached out to Pete Wentz on livejournal and introduced him to their music
when he risked his entire future by dropping out of college to pursue the music career he had so much faith in
that time he singlehandedly wrote panic!’s double platinum award winning, internationally bestselling debut album, a fever you can’t sweat out
the rolling stones photoshoot
his makeup and ryhawk
that time when Brendon got bottled and he flipped off the crowd
the entire nothing rhymes with circus tour, particularly his backup vocals in live in denver
his tremendous contributions vocally, lyrically, and musically to panic!’s certified gold album, pretty. odd.
the bravery and strength it must have taken him to realize Panic! was not what he wanted anymore and that he needed to leave to create music he truly believed in
his hair in the young veins era
the hockey photos

cheese whiz
the fact that someday, hopefully soon, he will bless us with more incredible music and rise from the ashes to tour again :)
“I think we just got a little bit better as musicians, and that definitely helps when you’re writing. I think that being with each other and being friends for so long has helped realize where we’re at as a band. Time will tell, I guess that’s what it really boils down to.”
-Brendon Urie, July 10, 2008
Another day, another inexplicable Panic at the Disco photo shoot.
“I guess you could qualify me as pansexual because I really don’t care. If a person is great, then a person is great […] I guess this is me coming out as pansexual.”
