ophelia-ohara:
Ophelia let out a deep sigh of relief, her features softening and the worried creases on her forehead smoothing—- not disappearing entirely, but still enough to make it clear she was relieved to hear Sora and her aunt were okay. “Didn’t get one either. Which is good of course, but I guess now that it seems no one in North End got one… well, you know—- it doesn’t look good.” She sighed, ashamed of her own neighborhood, though also incredibly protective of it. “And— and I, uh… I don’t know if you heard, but basically the police named me one of the, uh, one of the persons of interest? Which is just… well, I don’t even know, but I hope they realize they’ve made a mistake.”
Sora was relieved to hear that Ophelia was fine, but it was quickly replaced with shock adn surprise upon hearing that one of her dearest friends had been named as a person of interest in the case. “Ophelia, you...?” she trailed off, surprise clear in her tone. “Of course they made a mistake! You would never do anything like that. I know you, everyone here knows you, your name will be cleared.”
