Larry Wilmore covers the Sandra Bland case
Senator Bernie Sanders is running for President on a very simple message: enough is enough. Find out more about his stance on the issues here, donate to his campaign here, and look for him in the six recently-announced Democratic primary debates this fall.
Ok, I see you
I’m glad this is going around. People, Bernie stands for those of us who aren’t rich, who aren’t white, who aren’t in positions to abuse their power. There’s a LOT of hype going around because the media says Bernie can’t be elected (how’s that for pretentious? I thought voters decided that?) and because it’s easy to capitalize on buzzwords and then define them on the fly rather than define them by what they actually mean.
There is a HUGE volume of content out there spoken directly by Bernie. For decades his message has been consistent and unflinching. Just like this. Repost his actual words. Take away the media’s power to color this important man’s bid for president by refusing to say what they want you to think he says.
And then think. Of all the candidates running, do any of them speak like this? Do any of them have a message that’s about us, the little people? Do any of them actually give a shit?
Bernie does. I’ve met him a few times. He is…this. No games.
He did an AMA on reddit today for anyone interested.
Have to repost this with all the added comments for anyone who isn’t familiar with Bernie Sanders. Time to #getreal America.
This guy!
And remember that everything he says he is actively pushing for as a senator in the senate! If majority of liberal millennial voters voted for him, he could win.
He also has the support of many members of the democratic party and has a chance at actually beating Hillary Clinton because they think Hillary Clinton in too moderate and conservative in her politics!
I decided last month I’m going for him
Harry sat down hard on the bed. The broken bit of mirror danced away from him; he picked it up andturned it over in his fingers, thinking, thinking of Dumbledore and the lies with which Rita Skeeter wasdefaming him…
A flash of brightest blue. Harry froze, his cut finger slipping on the jagged edge of the mirror again. He had imagined it, he must have done. He glanced over his shoulder, but the wall was a sickly peach color of Aunt Petunia’s choosing: There was nothing blue there for the mirror to reflect. He peered into the mirror fragment again, and saw nothing but his own bright green eye looking back at him.
He had imagined it, there was no other explanation; imagined it, because he had been thinking of his dead headmaster. If anything was certain, it was that the bright blue eyes of Albus Dumbledore would never pierce him again.
This speaks volumes to me.
this girl’s logic is pretty solid
