#cooking class in #cambodia !!! What a unique experience. Signing up in a reputable restaurant with only a handful of other people, Grabbing food from a market unlike most I've been to (sketchy warm meats hanging on the slab for most of the day), heading up to the classroom through a hair salon and past several apartments and young children, and finally cooking over a gas range located on this outside balcony. So hot after all the work that the only thing worth consuming was a cold Tiger Bier!!!Actually an amazing time!!! Since childhood i have been fanatic about houses, their design, emotional value, symbolism and identity. My perspective has changed greatly on the function of a house with time. At this time in my life it is less about form and more about who i share it with. Children are amazing! Content in simplicity and undeterred by their circumstance whether considered positive or negative. Decided to see if i could still use some #graphite . Its a process for me to slow down enough to sit down and #sketch ,break through the early moments of frustration that i don't do this more often and then the high when something materializes on a page. Night 1.
