though because I am a fool and keep making blogs, I came up with an idea for a minor villain. 

Villain name “Idiot.” Power: Can gradually cause someone or a group of people to become dumber in his presence, up to and until reverting to a childlike/neanderthal state if he wishes, though the effect wears off once he’s gone. Obviously, making people dumb makes it easier to fool and convince them that it’s totally fine to give him all the money and it’s totally fine to let him go officer. Though obviously if he’s careless then they become too stupid to actually, you know, do anything useful. 

I imagine him to be in the same league as Rainbow Raider, which is to say, not very powerful or influential at all.

Sorry I’ve been gone. My muse sort of up and died, but I hope to get him back soon. Been under a lot of stress. 

Though tomorrow is my birthday and I need to go and get up early and go to the DMV. Yay...

Although easily stopping a building from falling on him, and the pink girl, was easy enough. Child’s play for a god who tossed entire mountains with ease. Still, when he set said falling building aside, he had to wonder why she hadn’t fled. “You are either courageous or foolish, mortal. Why do you remain?”

       “Because you wanted something, everyone wants something and whatever it was you couldn’t get it without free will.  If you made humans to be orderly, then you failed pretty badly. Humanity fights and fights and finds more ways to kill each other. For someone who wants to keep humans so orderly you let them create a weapons that can destroy the entire planet multiple times over.”

“Wanted something? Oh you’re foolish. I want nothing from mortals. I don’t even like or care about mortals. You are fragile, weak things, that bore me more often than not. No, for me, I only desire to face worthy foes as I guide the sun through the underworld every night.” 

“And we did not fail to make you orderly at all. They fight, yes, but they fight for reasons. You constantly seek justifications. You seek patterns. You spend your days forming habits and opinions and looking for stability. Killing or not killing has nothing to do with being orderly. For example, you have already formed and opinion, and you’ve turned against the idea of rejecting it no matter what. Why? Because mortals were made to be consistent. What are the values of this age? To keep your word, to hold down a job, to act in accordance with your own words, to be stable and build things. Meanwhile, you scorn liars and those that squander what they have, who are inconsistent, whose words and actions do not match, who constantly act in a chaotic manner. The fact that societies possess standards, that people have bias, the fact that cultural norms exist is proof enough of your orderly nature. Humans built weapons because war is a perfect way to express that order. Order clashing with order, each side trying to establish dominance. The fact that mortals haven’t destroyed themselves is proof of this as well. They possess the weapons only so they can establish hegemony over others.” 

“But you know what the closest thing to a chaotic mortal looks like, in the Joker. Of course, even he is not truly chaotic; his fixation on things, his need to stick to a form and persona is proof he is not entirely chaotic.”

“I don’t think there are any apocalyptic threats left among them. My team’s leader killed their queens about…12 years ago, now? We’ve been dealing with stragglers that have no plan to do anything but cause trouble for the past ten.” No need to bother with the source, if they’re a mild nuisance, at best. “The Sailor Senshi have honestly just become too strong for them to gather up any traction. It used to take most of our team to handle them, and now…Well, honestly, you just beat me to the punch.” By overreacting to its presence, in her opinion.

“The thing about demons as they are constantly being created in the primoridal chaos. At any time, a new world destroyer could appear. Simply because it’s been two hundred years since the last one means nothing, for chaos spawns such beings at random, without rhyme or reason to them. I have faced ones larger than this entire city, whose heads tower above the sky. While you may feel the danger has passed, I know that the danger never ceases.”

“Well, I mean it literally. I think the youma are a magically affected species that, as of the current moment, inhabits cave systems beneath Tokyo and the north pole.” She nods, stifling a smirk as she thinks of the demon running the fitness club around here. Well, half-demon.

“I suppose I’ll have to enter those areas and exterminate any there. It would be bad if one of the world destroying demons became free. Given that new ones are created constantly, it would likely be too late and we’d have to start humanity again.”

        “Free will is very subjective. If you raise someone to believe something they’ll do it, that’s what conditioning is. It makes people easier to control when you can just corral them into making the decisions you want them to. Humans just want a scapegoat for why things go right or wrong. They want karma and luck and gods to help them because coping alone is harder.”

        “I don’t doubt that you’re some powerful being. Magic, mundane, it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things but my powers barely even work on me–That could just make you the same thing that I am.”

“And if you accept that we are beings that created mortals, then why would we give them free will, if we just wanted worship? That’s foolishness of the highest order. We don’t, and never did, need to condition mortals. You were created to be orderly on purpose. It keeps the universe stable.” 

“The same thing? Mortal, you are not the same. You have some power... but I could easily remove it from you in an instant. I am a god, and the fact that you claim coping alone is the harder option is laughable. No, the harder option is knowing that there are gods, that they hear your prayers, and that they do nothing and do not care.” 

“After all, mortals tend to think that we should step in more until we do. Much like you may have wanted someone to while you were suffering as a science experiment.”
