Some Kind Of Monster || Liam and Ian
He laughed as he was passed the water.
“I can’t process water, Ian. I can only process blood and I’m not about to take any. Don’t worry. It went down easily. It just tasted a bit…disgusting.”
He put the water back.
“And yes, you should stay here tonight. Though you’ll need to make sure you have what you need with you for the trip. Though we can always buy you appropriate clothes if you need some.”
He moved to the bed and lay down.
“And no, I won’t molest you. Unless you want me to.”
Ian made a face. “Wise ass.” The white haired man sighed as he finished the milk shake. Everything was gone from the four plates, “Ok so I have a passport… but it hasn’t been updated since I was like 9… needless to say I need a new picture and information is a bit outdated but meh.” He shrugged, then laid on the bed next to Liam “So tell me… how old are you?”
“We’re moving within the United States. You should only need your normal ID or Drivers License for that. We’re not moving internationally yet. We’ll take care of your passport when we do.”
He looked out the window, wishing that the sun was up so that he could see it now. He had missed the sun for a long time. He startled a bit when asked about his age.
“I lost count around two thousand. Why do you ask?”
He was very old. One of the oldest still around.
“Well so you are an antique… interesting.” Ian grinned, knowing anything that old is most likely to be in a museum somewhere. “Well two thousand is nothing to sneeze at… it’s a ripe old age. You have seen a lot, countries come and go, inventions…and so on.” He stretched then, “Ok enough crap. I am gonna have a shower.” He got up.
“Antique…antiques are young compared to me. I’m a relic.”
He smiled softly at Ian.
“Enjoy your shower. I happen to know that the water pressure here is fantastic.”
He watched as Ian left to shower and made his way from the building. He was still recovering and needed to feed. He slipped out into the night, seeking out someone who deserved death. He found it in a woman who had just tried killing her young daughter and had fled like a coward when her husband returned.
Liam caught her around the neck and drained every last drop of her blood, letting her lifeless body fall before returning to the hotel. He then packed up his things and cleaned up Ian’s dishes, setting them on the tray outside to be picked up later.
Ian chuckled and got in the shower. Liam was right the water pressure was wonderful and he loved it. He used the hotel shampoo to wash his long thick hair. The shower was almost a half hour, once he was dry and blow dried his hair he braided it into one fish tail then came out in sweats and a t-shirt.
"Ok… you are not a relic, ancient…maybe but not a relic, and I love that shower… It’s like a hot water fall." Ian said dreamily then yawned.
"Well this is a five star hotel. The showers should be nothing less than magical."
Upon seeing the yawn, Liam pulled back the covers.
"In to bed with you. You look exhausted and we have a day of travel tomorrow."
He kissed Ian's forehead lightly.
"I'll get some work done while you sleep, as I don't actually require it. Good Night Ian."
