Some people are just so full of life. They sing at the top of their lungs while doing the dishes and dance around the kitchen as they cook. Their eyes light up when they smile, and when they talk, they speak with so much passion that you can almost feel what they feel. They make you forget what you were worrying about because they talk so damn much. They laugh so heartily and carry so much light within themselves that they bring color to life itself. Some people, I believe, were put on this earth to spread happiness wherever they go.

How unfortunate that the moments which inspire us to write the most are also the ones which make us the saddest.

Mountains never excite me; they calm me down. They bring me back to the person I am beneath all these layers, and it's often a much lonelier, quieter version of myself. My mom says that I talk too much but when I'm here, I don't speak at all. These mountains remind me that whenever I'm here, I'm alone.

I take up too much space in people's lives. I'm not as easy to love as I'd like to be. I tend to tire people. I beg them to love me like I love them, but I love people as if I cannot breathe without them. I understand why no one can love me like that. But I cannot teach myself to love less either. Its like listening to your favourite song but only at the lowest volume. How can I tell myself to live less?
