It’s SIX DAYS until the submission form closes!

But don’t panic! If you want to partake and haven’t got time to make something new, you can submit old artwork or articles, even if it’s already been posted online before!

And if you are working on the artwork or article, and need just a little more time, contact us at [email protected] and we can work something out! If it’s still far too late, don’t worry, there’ll be more zines soon enough!

If you want to submit something, what can you submit?

1. Artworks of all kinds; drawings, traditional, digital, crafts, cosplays, anything!

2. Short SFW fanfiction, any kind, ships, fluff, plot, whatever! We are not currently accepting fics centered around OCs, we have plans for future issues of the zine centered around them.

3. Fan theories, redesigns, and analysis!

4. Tutorials and guides!

5. Links to music or podfics in the form of a QR code!

6. Advertisements for online stores selling fanart!

ART SUBMISSION ON FANZINE - CLARIFICATIONS

Hello!

We made a post about submitting your art to be featured in the first issue of The Podling's Tavern - The Dark Crystal Fanzine and some questions were made. We are here to awnser!

First of all: for now, all submissions that respect the rules are guaranteed to participate! Only if the quantity of uploaded fanart gets bigger than our estimative for this issue, we will most likely let some of the last submissions be featured in the next issue. But for now, worry not! Your art will be featured in the magazine. 🤎

And second: You can participate with old art of yours! We understand that not everyone has time to produce a piece from scratch to participate. And that's okay too! The most important thing here is to display the amazing artists this fandom has and cherish them.

Welcome to The Podling Tavern!

The Podling Tavern is a collective of dedicated fans of Jim Henson’s masterpiece, The Dark Crystal! We run a Discord server and a fanzine! We hope to unite the fan base, and wake our ancient fandom from its long slumber!

Our zine isn’t just an e-zine, we also print physical copies and distribute them in our local communities! You are welcome to print copies of your own and put them wherever you think fans might find them, such as at libraries, collectible stores, and comic stores (with permission from the establishment, of course).

The Podling Tavern is owned by @skektra-the-prince !
