Hazel/Rainbow
/sighs when she hears talking downstairs/ Kill me, Rico. Just eat me or something so I don’t have to go down there. /grabs a book off of her bookshelf before groaning and walking downstairs slowly/
/spots Joseph first before scouting out Rainbow, quickly going to her side/
Hello, Rainbow! Merry Christmahannakwanza..or just Christmas. I just like being diverse in case.
Merry Christmas Hazel! /immediately pulls a package out of the bag she's carrying over her shoulder and hands it to her/ This is for you.
//I'll have a look around in the slow spots tonight for you~ What kinda stuff are we talking? Or anything? lol
Maybe I'll buy the earrings and wait a while longer Luci :P
// I promise I'm still around guys! Just shattered after working so much. I have Friday (thursday for you, I guess) off and I have next Wednesday off so hopefully I will be on then. Sorry loves but this sale has been crazy @.@ (Everything is 10 bucks atm so if anyone wants jewellery...)
Tea Party: Hazel/Rainbow
"Yeah, but at least your mom is cool. I think my mom hoped for a different kind of daughter. Someone more girly and less…weird." she said, shrugging to herself. Hazel loved her mom, but she always seemed to favor Sterling over her. She also believed they butted heads because they were…had been so alike. “I guess that explains why my hands smell like Lavender.” she laughed, finding all this new information interesting, “I wouldn’t mind some positive energy in my life. Thanks. What do the rest smell like?”
"He’s just a grump. He might just need to find an alternative way to…unblock those energies." she said, shrugging. How did the energy thing even work? "Well, I’m excited to try it." The small brunette grinned Rainbow’s way, before glancing up at the wall where all her teacups and pots were. She had to choose just one? There were so many.
"Um…I’m not sure. How about you choose for me? I’m sure you’re a better judge of character than I am. I trust you’ll pick one suited for me." she said, giving a slight smile.
"You're not weird," Perhaps no one was more weird than Rainbow herself, not that she viewed herself as weird either. She also didn't necessarily view people as normal. Her views could be a little confusing at times. "Well, there's lavender, strawberry, sandalwood, rose, vanilla... I can just make a small bunch for you if you like, to try. "
"Mmm... I suppose an alternative way could work... but he doesn't like to hear about his energies. I guess he's not ready to accept it." She mused, though her face took on a smile as Hazel grinned at her. It was nice to have someone so enthusiastic. Although she often seemed not to notice people's reluctance, she wasn't totally oblivious.
"Oh hush." But she smiled, "Let's use the owl ones today. I don't get to often." And she picked up the cute little owl cups and went back to the brewing table to fill the cups. She offered one to Hazel, "This one is meant to relieve pains caused by negative energies. You may not have any right now but perhaps it can ward any off."
Tea Party: Hazel/Rainbow
"I think my mom still thinks I’m five or something. I get a lot of clothes, but 95% of it is girly or pink. I’m not opposed to those things, I just have a much different sense of style than she thinks I do. Luckily, the rest of my family takes the safe route and goes with money." She touched a few incense sticks, not knowing what they were. When she went to brush a strand of hair from her face, she noticed her hands smelt weird. "Hey, what are these stick things?"
"I suppose that’s true." she said, smiling to herself. Hazel had never really seen anything like this before. She also didn’t quite understand the energies thing, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t willing to try to. "Yeah, he seems like a blocked energies kind of guy." she said, laughing lightly, "Oh, sure! It smells good, so it ought to taste good, right?"
"Mom's can be like that..." She commented- though her own was good with creative gifts and picking things Rainbow would like. "Oh, those are incense. Aside from smelling wonderful, they're also good conduits for energy flow. Positive energy, of course. You can take some if you like. I have a holder for them you could have too." She always liked to shared these things.
"Very blocked. But... sometimes you can't change things unless someone is willing." She wouldn't admit that it hurt her sometimes when Joseph turned her and her teas away, just consoling herself by having tea with her father instead. "I think it tastes wonderful. Would you like to use a particular cup?" She waved at the wall unit full of them, allowing Hazel her pick.
Tea Party: Hazel/Rainbow
"You're welcome." she said, smiling back at the blonde over her shoulder. There were so many things in her room that Hazel felt like just paying attention to the crystals was neglectful. She spun back around, letting her eyes trail over everything again.
"I wish I got stuff like this as gifts. I’ve decorated my room as well as I could with stuff I’ve come across by chance. You know like maps, flags, and mason jars." She walked over to her brewing table and glaced over at the different recipes she had written in a notebook by her teas. "It smells really good. I haven't heard the best reviews, but then again, Joseph isn't the most positive person." Hazel snickered lightly, remembering him talk about Rainbow's special teas.
"I think mostly it happens when Grandpa doesn't know what to buy me." She commented- a lot of her most random little trinkets had been from him. Although she usually did like what he got, so even when he felt like he didn't know, he picked something good. Most of the crystals she had gotten herself.
"Your room sounds cute though. Things you come across that way are often the most interesting." She seemed to float over to the brewing table with Hazel, "He just has blocked energies... he's not ready to accept unblocking yet. Would you like to try it? I've just finished this one."
Tea Party: Hazel/Rainbow
When the door opened, Hazel raised her eyebrows, the air quickly changing and accommodating to the smell of raspberries which was coming from Rainbow’s room. “Hi, Rainbow.” she said, smiling back and taking a step inside. Her room was just as interesting as the person who slept in it.
Every nook and cranny of the room was splashed in different colors and trinkets, causing Hazel to marvel at everything for a few moments. “I really like your room. You’ve got some really cool stuff..” she said, playing with a few crystals that hung from a bookshelf.
Nudging the door shut, Rainbow smiled brightly at Hazel's words, "Thank you!" Though she took in the crystals Hazel had been drawn to. "A lot of it is bits and pieces I've collected. Some of them are gifts..." She wore a somewhat dreamy smile.
"I'm working on a new tea at the moment. I felt like it needed raspberry..." She commented. That explained the smell, since she didn't have any incense burning at this point- but her little brewing table was clearly in use, a small notebook beside it with her neat handwriting noting what was needed to make the tea she was working on in it.
Rainbow's Room Part Two:
Crystals, Incense, Candles (also homemade) and little trinkets like the mockingjay pocketwatch she had hanging off the end of her wall cabinet.
Rainbow's Room Part One
Lights, her wall cabinet that contains many different teapots (some like the ones shown) and various herbs and things for her homemade teas.
Tea Party: Hazel/Rainbow
Hazel had been spending quite a bit of time with Joseph, and it nearly made her forget that he had a sister right down the hall. Rainbow was quirky and much different than most people Hazel had ever met, and while it might have been an unpopular opinion, she thought her vibrant personality was one worth finding out more about.
She decided not to scale the house this time and come over through the door like a normal person. She walked down the hall to the room Iris had told her was Rainbow’s and knocked.
There was soft music playing inside the room, and after a moment the door open, the soft scent of raspberry and something else wafting out. "Hazel!" She greeted her with a wide smile, come in. Rainbow took a few steps back to let her into the room.
It was a room of strange little trinkets, mixed colours and many different tea pots, herbs and supplies. There were also various candles, incense sticks and crystals around the room. It was all part of Rainbow's quirky charm- they all had to do with energies and her beliefs and theories about them.
Surprise Dress - Riley/Rainbow
Your hair looks pretty. /Makes a thoughtful noise/ I don’t think I’ll wear any makeup… /takes her headband and settles it in her hair/ Just the outfit… Sound okay?
Thanks it actually took me a while, my mom had to help me with it. You look fine without makeup anyways, I look like a wreck without any on /pulls out her makeup bag/ Sounds good, and with that dress it doesn’t even matter what else you do you’ll look stunning.
You never look like a wreck Riley, you always have beautiful energy! /smiles at her/ Can you lace up the back for me when I have it on?
Surprise Dress - Riley/Rainbow
Damn girl, look at that backing though. I love it and the floatiness is definitely a bonus to how cute it is /grins/ Yeah, your hair looks nice how it is, I did my hair before I came over so that’s ready to go I just need to do my makeup.

Thanks, and of course I do! /watches as she unzips the bag and her jaw drops/ Holy shit! That’s your dress? That is beautiful, and you picked it out yourself? I’m so proud of you, you are gonna rock that thing!
Yup! Of course I picked it out myself silly, like I said, it spoke to me! I think it's the floatiness... /fluffs the dress/ Thank you! I think I'll just leave my hair like this...
//I went polyvore hunting lol
EDIT: It's so short lol. I bet Rainbow doesn't even notice though, it just is what it is. She's oblivious to all the thigh.
