Shut Up and Dance || Ashley&Ivan
"Not stepping on toes is good. Very romantic." he grinned lightly against the otherâs shoulder, fingers tangling into Ivanâs hair lightly. "D-Did I do okay?" he asked peering up at him with the hint of a shy smile.
"I'm secretly the master of romance," he teased, laughing softly as he kissed Ashley's cheek. "You did very good. I'm sure you'll be fluent before you know it."

"Me too. Youâre - you know - doing like really great so far.â he stuttered shyly tightening his hold on Ivan glancing up at him through his lashes. The whore paused at his boyfriends words, face softening before he was leaning up for a sweet kiss. âDanke liebe.â it was muttered a little flusteredly before he was leaning forward to rest his head on Ivanâs shoulder.
"I think you're just happy I haven't stepped on your feet yet," Ivan said with a chuckle. Not crushing his boyfriend's toes was something he was rather proud of, given his two left feet. He smiled widely at the words, even wider than he normally would have, given that they were said in his native language. He hummed happily when Ashley rested his head on his shoulder, slowly growing less careful with how he held him. "You've been working on your German," he mumbled happily.

"You wouldnât have asked me to dance if I didnât give you the hint." he grinned back shyly, his own hands reaching down to take Ivanâs and move them to the small of his back with a laugh. "You can touch me you know. Iâm not made of glass." Ashley leaned up to brush lips together trying not to laugh. "This song is horrible."Â
"Probably not. I'm still trying to figure out this whole romance thing." He wasn't really sure why he felt the need to say that, given it was pretty obvious already. Still, he hoped it was also obvious that he was trying his hardest to make Ashley happy. He laughed a bit nervously at the statement, trying to relax a little. "I know. I just...don't wanna make you uncomfortable," he said, not looking at his boyfriend. "Yeah...It kinda is."

Ashley was really no better at their dancing then Ivan was. Long limbs that were hard to coordinate made it hard to dance and the fact he was trying to press as close to Ivan as possible (without possibly crushing Hanns). He couldnât really care less how awful they looked, attempting to dance to how slow song, because to Ashley it was pretty much close to perfect moment. âI like that.â he grinned fingers brushing over soft hair before admitting âyou knowâŠI donât even know this song.âÂ
Ivan laughed, smile easy and genuine as he looked into Ash's eyes. "Well, aren't you just sly?" He teased affectionately, positioning his hands carefully as not to put them anywhere that would make his boyfriend uncomfortable. "I don't know the song either," he admitted with another laugh.

"J-Just shut up and dance." he ducked his head, red painting across his cheeks and down his neck, before he was leaning up to press his lips shyly to the corner of Ivanâs smile. "For the record, I think youâre a sexy homosexual too or whatever."Â
Ivan leaned forward to kiss Ashley's cheek, smiling happily as they dancing. His movements were awkward, to say the least, inexperience and two left feet combining to leave him mostly focusing on just not stepping on his boyfriend. "We're the Sexy Homosexual Boyfriends. Coming to corrupt young minds across the nation."

Ashley buried his face in Ivanâs neck body shaking with quiet laughter. A sigh, shaky with laughter left his lips before he was grinning, all teeth and laughter lines up at his boyfriend. âYou think Iâm a sexy homosexual then? I think the Reverend would burst into flames if we so much as kissed let alone me giving you a lap dance."Â
"I think you're the sexiest homosexual," Ivan said with a laugh. His face was tic-ing a little, since he was focusing on holding back his verbal tics as not to be yelling when they were that close. "Ooo, well we better not do that then. Even if he did burst into flames, the hottest person here would still be you."

Ashley curled his arms around Ivanâs neck, laughing softly. âNeither do I. Unless you count -you know- lap dances but I donât think they apply here.â He tightened his grip eyes dropping slightly to his feet, a little nervously.Â
Ivan chuckled, moving into the position he'd seen in movies and such, hands resting on Ashley's waist. "Yeah, I don't think that'd be quite the same. Besides, I think the Reverend might have a heart attack if that happened." He put on a mocking voice, hoping to make his boyfriend laugh. "Sexy homosexuals? In my asylum?"

Ashley tried not to feel horribly disappointed when Ivan didnât seem to get the clue at first. He looked down at his lap, smoothing out his dress pants to try and gather himself.  He could hardly keep from beaming brightly as he watched the other stumble to his feet. âYeah of courseâŠâ he stood linking their arms together. âI thought youâd never ask.â Â
Ivan grinned widely as Ashley linked arms with him, a small blush rising up on his cheeks. He kissed him on the cheek quickly as he led him onto the dance floor before chuckling and leaning in close to whisper in his boyfriend's ear. "I don't have the slightest clue how to dance, schmetterling."

Ashley beamed down at the rat resisting the urge to coo over how cute the he looked, or something equally embarrassing. Instead the whore stared down at their linked fingers fondly.Â
"You knowâŠ" he coughed softly to bring Ivanâs attention back to him. "I love this song." he hinted peering up at him shyly.
Ivan closed his jacket, receiving a few squeaks of protest from Hanns that he easily ignored. As wonderful an adviser and friend that the rat was, he was a bit spoiled.Â
He smiled at the statement, pausing for a moment to listen to it, finding out easily that he didn't know it. A few moments passed before it clicked in his mind what his boyfriend was trying to say. "Do you--shit!--wanna dance? Er, um, I mean..." Ivan stammered ungracefully, releasing his hand from the other's and standing up to face him. "May I have this dance?"

"Mmhh hot." he confirmed grinning up at Ivanâs reaction before he was looking away blushing just as hard. "Iâve never either. But if it means you in a suit more then count me in." Ashley gave him a shy smile before he was sitting down tugging his boyfriend down to sit next to him. "You brought Hanns tonight right?" Â
Ivan laughed, sitting down beside Ashley and absentmindedly playing with their fingers. God, he couldn't remember the last time he'd been so happy outside of the sewers. He'd never though a human could make him smile the way his boyfriend did. "Of course I did," he hummed, shifting and opening up his suit jacket to reveal the rat sitting in an inside pocket. It's stuffy in here. "Hush, Hanns. You're fine." I am not. This is undignified.

"You in suitsâŠitâsâŠ" he paused a little surprised by his words. "Itâs hot."  Ashley flushed red at Ivanâs words, even if it was a tic. "I could wear a freaking clown suit and youâd still think the sun shined out of my ass." he beamed fondly, linking their hands again to lead them to a table. "Did you ever go to parties like this?"
"Hot?" Ivan echoed, a blush rising up on his cheeks as he let out a slightly shy laugh. He leaned lovingly against Ashley as they walked, nodding. "True. Not my fault--shit! fuck me!--you're so wonderful." He thought about it for a moment, shrugging. "Not--shit!--that I remember really. I always preferred--fuck!--to spend time with my rats."

Ashley hummed out a yes, fingers dragging down the edge of Ivanâs suit, eyeing him for a moment. He swallowed thickly looking up at him through his lashes. âYou look really good. You should wear suits all the time.âÂ
"For you, I--shit!--might." He glanced down at himself, blushing a little. He felt awkward in the suit, but it felt good to hear that Ashley liked it. "I don't look--fuck off!--nearly as good--shit!--as you. You'd look--fuck me!--good in anything."

The tips of Ashleyâs ears turned a further red, his stomach seemed filled with the nicknames namesake, fluttering around as he tightened his grip. His glow only growing at the second nickname; Ivan was going to kill him. He paused to glance around to see if any of the staff were watching before he smirked, eyes twinkling. "Let me taste."Â Â
Ivan grinned at the kiss, one hand coming up to rest on Ashley's waist. He was aware of the possible consequences given the staff and Leto's presence, but honestly he didn't care. Eventually the kiss broke and he grinned. "Good right?"

"Shut up." he huffed cheeks turning that embarrassing shade of red that seemed inevitable when he was around Ivan. The whores fingers ran through his hair with a shy smile; a sign that his words had some effect, before he was walking past Ivan taking his hand to guide him. "I was looking for you. Youâre my boyfriend, you canât leave me the suffer alone."Â
"Never, schemetterling," Ivan said, a wide grin spreading across his features. Just seeing Ashley was enough to make his whole day a hundred times better. "Sorry. I--shit!--got distracted by the punch, babe. It's--fuck off!--grape. I love grape."

Ashleyâs fingers went to the tie around his neck tugging at it with a deep frown. He couldnât remember the name of the nurse that tied it for him, giving him a pitiful look he hated when he told her heâd never worn a tie before and didnât know how to put it on.Â
The room was filled with patients and staff alike, all dressed in fancy suits and expensive looking dresses. With the bad lighting and terrible music the whore thought it was a rather depressing scene. One he had no intention spending alone. With that thought he set off weaving between people and standing on his toes to try and spot someone he knew; Ivan, Fiona even Rose at this point. Â But after a few moments of trying to push his way around the crowd, his shoes were starting to pinch his feet, Ashley turned on his heel with a huff, intending to go sit down and sulk but instead walked straight into another person. The whore gave a pained grunt stepping back to steady himself before setting his glare on the other.Â
Ivan stumbled back, given his terrible balance and how uncertain he was in the suit and tie. Hanns gave a small squeak from his pocket but they both quickly recovered. Once he saw it was Ashley, he grinned widely. "You--shit!--you look great."
