My first ever science fair is next Tuesday!!!! So excited!!! This is a pic of me and my classmates for the group science project. I’m also doing an individual project on ELECTROMAGNETS! Dad is especially excited about that because he works for an electric vehicle start-up company 😉 Now where is my lab coat???
Nature is better than TV!

Cinder-Ray-Ray!
It’s the 100th day of school! While I might not look especially excited here, just know that I have 100 hearts on my cape for the Washington Open parade!
Yesterday was ... Reptile Day! The twins turned the ripe old age of 7, so we celebrated with snakes, lizards, and the like. Mom even had the snake handler put one around her neck! As you can see, I was all about them. In fact ... Mom, can I have one????
Earlier this month we went down south for ... The LA Auto Show! Dad’s company was unveiling their new EV SUV and truck, and we were front-and-center for the action. My favorite part of the show? Jumping in the driver’s seat of a bunch a cars! Mom and Dad, you’re in the back!
What do you need to become Vampirina for Halloween??? 🎃 One very loving Daddy ❤️
Peace, Love, and ... Spaghetti! 🍝
Chihuly Gardens and the Space Needle!
Last weekend we went to Seattle to meet up with Mom after her work conference. What a blast!!!
We had our raincoats and rubber boots, so nothing would slow us down. We met up with Aunty Critty and family friends Lenny and Susan.
Restaurants and coffee shops included Ludi’s, Storyville Coffee, Purple Cafe and Wine Bar, a bagel spot in the Armory near the Space Needle, and Serious Pie near the hotel.
We also took the Puget Sound Tour with Earl who is hilarious! We saw all the Seattle neighborhoods, the Ballard Locks, the floating houses, and the troll under the bridge!
On our own, we saw the Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens.
What a great trip!!!!!
Breakfast at Tiffany’s! (Actually Bill’s Cafe)
Tooth #5 waiting for the Tooth Fairy tah-nightah!
1st day of 1st grade is in the books, y’all! On Thursday I started 1st grade at Washington Open (WO) Elementary in Santa Clara. My teacher’s name is Janine and she looks like Miss America. I wasn’t nervous one bit because WO is my happy place!
Ready to ... Go Out! Tonight is Action Day’s 50th Anniversary, and I’m ready to tear it up. What’s Action Day? It’s Ian’s pre-school in our neighborhood and apparently the celebration entails a jumpy house, DJ, and ICE CREAM! What happens in Action Day ... stays in Action Day!
When Mom says we can go for an evening swim!
National Night Out #7! You may remember a post about my 1st NNO when I was ~2 months old. Now I’m 6 and big enough to sit on a police motorcycle! It was a great night with my kid crew. We played for hours on Rod Sr.’s lawn and I have the plum tree stains on my pants to prove it!
