So, Puqis serious talk stream implies possibility to talk back. Let's talk.
The solution of W.O.M.D. situation is really disappointing. Puqi says how he doesn't want viewing experience to be annoying to the viewers, but the annoying factor somehow caused by his decisions. All the talks with Lezy about negotiations off stream leads to what, to Lezys whole project getting basically wiped out because Puqi "missed the part of the plugin that makes it unfair". And the fact that Quakitus' actions got reconned because he "entered the End in unfair way" is really ironic coming from Puqi of all people, when everyone knows that Andromeda was created with usage of unfair methods. Why wasn't it negotiated like Dol9s flux beam kill? Despite it being obvious cheating it was decided to let it happen and give her some of Mugms items because it was good for content. How is this situation different? If Im being completely honest, it really looks like unfairness only gets punished when it hurts Andromeda
And worst thing is thats not the only thing that Andromeda has done. Its so upsetting to see members just shrug when streamsniping or op abusing is mentioned because they had to accept that there's nothing they can do about it. People can't talk freely on stream because otherwise their plans will inevitably be leaked and prevented, some streamers consider to not stream during important events or at all to not get streamsniped. How is this good for content if all it does is demotivates both viewers and players? It supposed to be second the most important rule, but right now it looks like a joke
Unscripted server implies the lack of players control of how things go. Even if something goes against your plan you go with the flow, interact with it, think about solutions, and if you lose you have to accept it, as upsetting as it is. Even if you want to end it right here and there, surely theres more ways to go around it besides literal retcon. Andromeda is a good project with good potential, but the approach they take is just not it. It harms content for others, and by that it harms their own reputation in the eyes of players who cant retaliate and audience who ends up disliking it
And about op abusing specifically, with great power comes great responsibility. Admins should have restrictions, and if they end up crossing it they should get repercussions. I don't know what happened that it became so frequent and so blatant, maybe its a bit we don't understand, but if it is then it should be clear already that it went too far, and its time to stop
At the end of the day, even breaking the rules and op abuse can be done in fun way, that adds to the story and the characters, that allows others to interact with it and add to their own arcs, or create new ones. When it does the opposite, the one behind it does something wrong. Or, if its meant to this way, well. That sucks
