I dated this guy for 2 years and towards the end of our relationship things got horribly toxic. We fought almost daily over the dumbest things. I recently broke up with him, but he hasn’t moved out yet, and full disclosure I’ll miss him and don’t want him to leave. I know things would be better for us both if we broke up but I’m not ready to be on my own yet. Should we stay together until I’m ready or just stay broken up?

There’s no time you’re going to be ready for breaking up and being on your own. It’s always going to be hard and scary. Prolonging the inevitable is only going to make it worse. You know it’s not the right thing for you. You know it’s over. Don’t stick around to be comfortable.
