Greetings, programs! Here's the first chapter of my Tron x KPDH fusion fic, i can finally feel (this infection). I wanted to see someone make one of these, and I was shocked at how little crossover content there was. I can't promise extra-frequent updates on this fic, as I have several other writing projects I'm juggling, but I will try my hardest to maintain it.

I really, really hope this goes over well, and I think you'll all like what I have in store for the story. It helps if you know some detail about the Tron franchise, but I'm hoping I've made this as beginner-friendly as I can so being a turbo-nerd about Tron isn't required.

This helps disprove some theories and approve others

1. Gwi-Ma is not Rumis father. He appears to be a similar species to the Saja Boys

2. Rumi is not a rape baby. Many theorize Miyeong was raped by Rumis dad but this shows it was mutual love

3. This confirms Rumis dad was a specific type of demon and that the love was mutual between her parents

In past concept Celine was originally the one who killed Miveong, accidentally. Perhaps Celine was aiming for the dad but Miyeong got in the way and was struck instead 👀

I always kinda interpreted Miyeong jumping in front of the metaphorical bullet being what happened, and so Celine did *technically* kill her. Glad to know that's more or less what the crew thought too.

So Bryce Montenegro's name is actually quite layered with references and jokes. First of all, the Lucerne II manned mission to Mars is an adaptation of the Mars expedition in the 2001 LEGO theme Life on Mars. One of the characters in that theme is a young astronomy student named BB who, like Bryce, won a contest to travel with a Mars expedition. So Bryce's name had to start with B in order to make that connection. In light of this, I "headcanon" Bryce's full name to be Bryce Brodie Montenegro, thereby giving him the initials B.B., and completing the homage to one of LEGO's most unique original themes.

Then comes why I chose Bryce in the first place. There is a series of Teen Christian science fiction books by Sigmund Brouwer called Robot Wars, where the main character is a 14-year-old paraplegic named Tyce Sanders, who was the first child on Mars (if I recall correctly). Around the same time I was reading those books, we had another Teen Christian book series by Jerry B. Jenkins and Chris Fabry called Red Rock Mysteries (that I also read), where one of the main characters is Bryce Timberline, only this one is set in the titular, presumably fictitious Red Rock, Colorado (I think it's distinct from the Red Rocks Amphitheatre also in Colorado). I think I got their names mixed up on occasion, due to the similarities in pronunciation, plus the fact both Tyce's and Bryce's stories are kiiiiinda basically Red Rock Mysteries...! So Bryce is a small, really niche way for me to call-back to those books that were a formative part of my teen years. :P

Then here's my personal bit of giggles. There's an old 3D modeling and rendering program that specialized in fractal terrain generation called Bryce3D. Montenegro means "Black Mountain." You can make mountains in Bryce3D. So I associated mountains with his name. XP

There's also Angela Montenegro from Bones, who put that name on my radar in the first place, so she's also a source of inspiration.

Also, since we're talking about names, I might as well touch on another character's name. Dora Read is a direct reference to D. W. (Dora Winifred) Read from Arthur. :P I remember there was an imagine spot of some kind where she became the first woman on Mars, and ever since I saw that I wanted to pay that reference off somehow. :P

It is highly unlikely that she is the same person, though.
