Adventures In High School
Monday is marking my 100th day in high school. We're midway through the year and time flies by pretty fast. Throughout the course of those 99 days, I've experienced joy, grief, and anger. Joy was that I found new friends besides Jerry, Lathan, and Anguel. I met John, Jospeh, Shayann, Jenifer, Daniel, Yesina, etc. The grief part was when my grandmother passed away the day before Homecoming. Along with my science teacher quitting the following week because of some idiot freshmen. Anger was when my substitute in science lost our work and we still can't get a new science teacher.
Before Christmas break, I had my first military ball. I ran into some old friends and had a blast that night. I have to be honest, that dance was way better than my middle school dance. We actually got good music and not constant line dances. And the crowd was accepting, hence we are all cadets.
It's amazing how it's already almost the 100th day of school. People complain how they wish the year would be over, I used to be one of those people. As I draw nearer to sophomore year, the more I wish I could go backwards in time. Re-do everything so maybe I have a higher shot at Juilliard.
