Hey gang about the oc x canon I have created, it's name is either ochomari or 'mochi' idk yet.

Lore drop?

Mari and Ocho were old rivals in the octarian army, Mari getting one rank above ocho, as ocho was elite rank 008, and Mari was elite rank 007. They both wanted to get to the surface, so ocho came up with the bright idea of stealing maris plan and escaping on his own!

After a few years or whatever, they met again in Splatsville after ocho decided to call mari out like he was a superfan, kinda like the sound

"OH MY GOD IS THAT TALIA MM2 FROM TIKTOK"

but instead it was:

"OH MY COD IS THAT ELITE RANK AGENT 007 FROM THE OCTARIAN ARMY?"

and they got in a little bit of a fight. They're on the same team sorta for a few years and Ocho is making it his mission to annoy her or whatever. he knows fine well Mari isn't exactly used to affections, and he uses it to his advantage.
