This is my absolute favorite shot from Alaska this spring. The perfect spot of sunlight! BUT...I need advice! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'm doing something totally different than my typical budget backpacking. Saturday I am leaving on a cruise! Many of you know that I am a full-time PhD student and that my amazing boyfriend is in the military. With his deployment fast approaching, we needed a vacation but neither of us had any time to plan and we couldn't devote any real thought to it. So, we opted for the laziest getaway possible and booked a cruise! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'm looking for advice from my amazing followers for unconventional, slightly less touristy things to do in Grand Cayman, Roatan, Belize and Cozumel. It's important to me that even though I'm participating in mass travel that some of my money stays local rather than be absorbed by the large-scale corporate tourism industry.
