If Harry Potter Movies Had Honest Titles.
“There was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people to see if we could become something more.” (3/3)
A critical appreciation of the 'unsinkable' star, whose 'Singin' in the Rain' was the great (if underappreciated in 1952) Hollywood-plays-itself movie that made a string of future Oscar winners possible.

I am usually a private person. But after an influx of negative interactions on my personal FB page, I feel like I have to use my voice and take a stand. I don’t have to allow negativity in my social media accounts, so as a fair warning, I sent out a message that I would be going through and purging “friends” off of my list. The response was almost immediate of people asking to remain on my friend's list which those people, I have consistent interactions with, I know personally or have met in person. I will continue having conversations with people I enjoy and are committed to the same path of engaging in a friendly way; even it is not of the same view. So I went through and either blocked or unfriended people that I had negative interactions w/ or honestly we have never spoken. Seems fair enough, right? That was two days ago. I wake up this morning to an email in my Reel Critic account ( thereelcritic.com - an entertainment blog about movies, reviews, etc.) with the subject “Kiss My Ass stupid b*#ch” Obviously, this person is angry with me, insulting my intelligence, talents and personality. Well, jokes on you, buddy. Learn how to use spell check and then let’s have a discussion because you couldn’t even spell my name right. Lesson #1 Kids - if you’re going to insult someone, make sure you spell check and spell their name correctly. What I don’t get about people today. Just because they can hide behind the anonymity of the internet, doesn’t mean that you should. Harassing someone that you don’t know, a woman who is working herself to exhaustion, doesn’t deserve your hate as well. Especially being called a cunt. Am I taking this personally? Absolutely not! I'm secure enough in who I am to know that this person is coming from a low place, and that's unfortunate that they feel the need to treat individuals or women in this way. What this also opens up the discussion for is a few issues: Online/ Cyber Bullying& Women in Media or even the treatment of women in general. Sadly, this is not the first time I have been verbally attacked or name called for my reviews or opinions. I'm all about having discussions about topics but treat each other with respect.
