We would like to provide you with a brief status update concerning what your donations were used for and also at what stage of development Rape-aXe has reached.

We have built prototype molds to test out the concept of Rape-aXe. User evaluations of the Rape-aXe device have been conducted and based on these results and feedback we have received from you, we made some additional improvements over the initial test models. 

We have improved the internal cage with barbs that are longer and stronger in order to penetrate deeper. This means it attaches even more securely to the assailant’s penis therefore more painful and more difficult to remove than before. 

We also thickened the sheath to make it more durable and added a ring at the base to help seal in any body fluids from the assailant; also making it more difficult to remove. The additional thickness of the outer sheath also makes it more cushioned and comfortable for the woman to wear.

Our volunteers wore Rape-aXe all day and performed the same tasks that they do on their daily routine, like jogging, bicycle riding, housework, sitting at the computer, using the toilet, walking the dogs, as well as other activities. None of them experienced any pain or discomfort while wearing RX. 

We simulated rape scenarios and the RX device securely attached to the ‘assailants’ penis as expected.

We are now ready to purchase the molds and assembly equipment needed to start the manufacturing of RX. We need your continued support to make this innovative technology a reality.

To date, our Go Fund Me campaign has generated less than 5000 USD in donations. This is far away from the goal of 300,000 USD that we need to set up the manufacturing and make Rape-aXe available to women affected by sexual violence. We NEED your help.
