I have recently found out my cat cannot deal with loss well.

I had to get rid of a bug in the house, one that he was after ( even though it was the ceiling and he's like 2 feet tall on his hind legs )

He was in denial for a while. He kept looking for the bug as if he didn't just watch me pick it up with a paper towel and toss it in the trash

This was last night.

He is still staring at the ceiling confused.

How to I help my cat get to the second stage of grief?
