What are your opinions on the other Volo
Ehhh you need to be more detailed about this because ehhh I mean you want me to comment on which Volo?? Canon version?? My version??? Or another AU???
But I can give my personal opinion on the canon Volo; Volo is very interesting to me in many aspects that can be explored from just the short time we was with him but I really don't like how people reduce him to an "evil twink" and reduce him to his complexes
if you want to bully him please use other jokes than "evil twink".
These are some aspects of Volo that I love but rarely talk into:
Many people often forget that Volo is based on how the remaining indigenous people were forced to live under the pressure of genocide, where their culture, language, traces, and land were forcibly taken and erased from the grasp of the indigenous people and their descendants.
Volo is angry because his history and culture were taken from his people, so he wants it back, but through violence (aka killing everyone and creating a new world) that continues, he ends up hurting others and is the same as the oppressors in the past, a vicious cycle.
Volo is a reflection of humanity and the relationship between religions. You can't hope in God without taking action to change your life.
Volo is a hypocrite. He claims he is more righteous than Arceus and questions it, while simultaneously doing bad things like humans, and hypocrisy is something that God strongly dislikes in many religions.
He claims he is better than Arceus, who chose him, but in reality, he is not—he is just a human—nothing more, nothing less.
This topic may be different from most people's because it's taken from my own perspective as someone who has a complicated relationship with the religion I follow;;;
Yes, I can really understand view Volo because I surprisingly relate to it as a native person who has difficulty with their own culture and language and as someone who understands religion but has a complex relationship with religion and God. I spent 9 years in a religious school and most of it wasn't very good;;;
