Second round (late entries)

my second time going round was a bit more learning foucs, i took a different approach to this. i wanted to do something that could befit the shop and push my artistic ability. i wanted to try to make an “exploded anatomy” of a bike! when i got there, j and another guy, (i think josh? his name isn’t popping up in my head) they both loved the idea! they wonder where it could fit on the wall or if it could be a poster of some sort. as it was a very slow day, they started giving my a break down of a bike frame. 

lots of terms, but generally i was getting a better idea of what each part was for and how bikes aren’t really standardize until resently. (like 2000s) as i was sketching, i just watched what j or the other guy was doing with some of the bikes they were fixing. time was going by, so i had to head home.

it was a better time than the first but still felt a bit stand-off-ish. saddly due to the current crisis i wasn’t able to continue my hours. but it’s one of the places i plan to visit during the summer, hopefully they can help with my cured bike.

For an assignment gotta do a looping gif animation, doing a mermaid jumping out of water turning in to a human and diving back in, and being a mermaid. Simple sweet and hopefully I give the teacher a headache. Figure drawing had us go an interesting road. Tackling anthropology, (things with human characteristics) while drawing from model. The model was an older man so I thought a owl would work well!
