He'd been pacing the floor of the living room, waiting for her to get home. The moment Satine walked through the door and set her things down, he put on her favorite vinyl record. "My lady, may I have this dance?" { little moments are needed. I needed domestic Obitine (modern? Yes, no, I don't know?) }
@thesarcasmofasoldier
It had been an exhausting day in the office. Pre Vizla was trying yet again to recruit from her company by trashing said company. Dealing with him was tiring, to say the least.
Satine blew some hair out of her face as she set down her things, and heard her favourite record. She looked at Obi-Wan and smiled, relaxing a bit. She took his hand and gave a small bow of her head. “You certainly may.”
Obi-Wan couldn’t help but smile as he led her into the living room, bowing to her before pulling her into his arms. He pressed a kiss to her temple as he started swaying to the music. “Rough day?” He asked softly. He knew she had a lot on her plate lately, and judging by the way she looked coming home made him believe that this was a necessity.

Obi-Wan nodded and curled up, looking over at Anakin’s datapad. “You were talking about the form of Ataru.” He reminded him, leaning his head on Anakin’s arm.
“Oh right.” It felt a little strange to be reading to someone he had only met today. He wondered if this was what it felt like to have a little brother. His eyes focused back ton the holo-pad. “Atura is the fourth form taught at the Temple. It is also known as the Aggression Form or the Way of the Hawk-bat.”
Obi-Wan listened to him, however, he started falling asleep as the older boy read. He stayed with his head on Anakin's shoulder, savoring the comfort of having someone else there with him.
"The doctor explained everything to me... I... I can't just let you go like this. I need you."

Obi-Wan looked over at him, knowing that Anakin truly meant what he said. He reached over and took his hand. “You know that I wouldn’t leave you alone if I had a choice… by life has a sick sense of humor.”
He closed his eyes, sighing quietly. “But let’s not talk about that… I’d like to make the most of the time I’ve got.”
Obi-Wan looked at him and sighed. “I haven’t been told yes or no on that one. So, I say we should go while I’m still able to.” He said, reaching over to take a piece of pizza from the box. “Unless you don’t want to… we can always find a place here to get married.”
Suddenly Anakin didn’t feel very hungry anymore. He knows he is supposed to act like everything was normal tonight but it wasn’t was it? “Obi-Wan I don’t care where we get married… The only thing I care about is you… And having you with me for as long as I can even if that is perhaps selfish.”
Obi-Wan looked up at him. "Anakin, I know... don't think that I don't feel the same way. But maybe a short holiday is what we both need." He said, looking at the transport list. "Naboo isn't that far... and I know you like it there. Why don't we go, get married and spend a few days there?"
“It depends on what they’re for. The ones where they have a decent dinner are pretty great.” He said, looking at him. “And I don’t believe you’ve met her. The Duchess of Mandalore, Satine Kryze… we were lovers once… before I even met you. Haven’t seen her since the war started.”
“Maybe we can go to one together then if you manage to teach me to dance properly.” Not that he doubted that since Obi-Wan was a good teacher. “You… You two dated?” Anakin was regretting asking this already. “That’s nice… That you went with her… Not that you haven’t seen her I mean… “ He took in a deep breath and shook his head. “I don’t really like thinking of you with someone else.”
"Well... it was complicated. We spent a year together on the run with Qui-Gon. But we... well, we didn't really get along." He noticed Anakin's discomfort, and thought better of it. "Anyways, enough about that. That's all history now. What matters is you and me." He said softly, placing a hand on Anakin's shoulder. "Now, you ready for those dance lessons?"
"The doctor explained everything to me... I... I can't just let you go like this. I need you."

He closed his eyes, sighing quietly. “But let’s not talk about that… I’d like to make the most of the time I’ve got.”
Obi-Wan went to answer him when the doorbell rang. He grabbed his datapad while he waited for Anakin to get the food, and he started looking up departure times for different transports. He chuckled softly at his findings. “Well, looks like we’re in luck. First thing tomorrow, there are three we can choose from. Mandalore, Alderaan, and Naboo.”
“I told you the pizza would arrive first!” Anakin yelled over his shoulder to him before taking his wallet and handing the delivery guy some money before taking over the pizza.
“Three?” He repated while closing the door again, walking over to the couch and snuggling next to him with the pizza box. “They are all lovely places…” Anakin mused until a thought hit him. “I…. Are you even allowed to travel?” The questions was asked carefully. “I mean… I don’t wan’t to make things worse.”
Obi-Wan looked at him and sighed. "I haven't been told yes or no on that one. So, I say we should go while I'm still able to." He said, reaching over to take a piece of pizza from the box. "Unless you don't want to... we can always find a place here to get married."
Obi-Wan smiled softly. “I wouldn’t start you on the harder ones until you had the basics down anyways.” He said, moving to pause the music. It’d be easier to teach him without it. “And yes, I’ve been to a gala… many of them actually.” He said admittedly. “I used to accompany a friend of mine to them… but that was before the war broke out.”
“That makes sense.” Anakin agreed while watching him pause the music. “What are they like? I mean they sound a bit dull but maybe if you’re in the right company… “ He paused for several seconds before clearing his throat. “With who did you go if I may ask?”
"It depends on what they're for. The ones where they have a decent dinner are pretty great." He said, looking at him. "And I don't believe you've met her. The Duchess of Mandalore, Satine Kryze... we were lovers once... before I even met you. Haven't seen her since the war started."
Obi-Wan couldn’t help the loud moan that escaped his lips when Anakin pulled his hair. His hand gripped his shoulder, keeping him steadied as he fiercely kissed back, closing the small gap between them, making sure to press against Anakin just right for him to feel how his actions were effecting him.
The wall behind him wasn’t the only thing that was pressing against him and Anakin groaned desperate for more. There was nothing else that mattered in this moment except him and his lover. He let go of Obi-Wan’s hair only so that his hands could grip his hips, making him grind against his own.
Obi-Wan couldn't get enough, nor did he ever think he would. The way Anakin's hands gripped his hips felt as if they belonged there. He buried his free hand in Anakin's hair, tugging on it as if to encourage him further.

Obi-Wan pouted but climbed back into bed, looking up at him. “But what if I can’t sleep?” He asked quietly, knowing the older boy might know how he felt.
“Let’s not worry about that yet shall we? Either way, I’ll be right here so don’t worry. You’re not alone. “ Anakin answered while looking down at Obi-Wan. “Right where was I?”
Obi-Wan nodded and curled up, looking over at Anakin's datapad. "You were talking about the form of Ataru." He reminded him, leaning his head on Anakin's arm.
Obi-Wan already made last minute reservations for two, knowing Anakin wouldn't mind the higher end style of dining. He casually knocked on Anakin's door, one hand in his pocket, making sure the ring box was still there while he waited for Anakin to answer. { thesarcasmofasoldier }
Anakin still didn’t feel very good in the newly-bought suit. He wasn’t used to wearing one and wasn’t sure if it even looked good. His worries quickly vanished when hearing the knock on his door. A second later he opened the door to see Obi-Wan standing in front of him in a suit that seemed to be made for him. Realizing he was standing with mouth open staring at him he quickly shut it close. “You look great.”
“It’s not that… well, maybe partially the realization that you look pretty sharp in that suit.” He said, smiling at him. “Just… this isn’t the whole surprise… and it’s the rest of it I’m nervous about.”
Anakin’s smile didn’t last very long. “I would ask what the rest of the surprise is but I’m fairly sure you won’t tell me. Whatever it is though I will love it because I love you. Unless there’s sand involved then I’m out of here. I have my limits! ”
"You'll see later, I promise." He said, relaxing a little with that bit of assurance. He chuckled at the bit about sand though. "Yes, Anakin, because I have a whole bag of sand waiting for you at home." He said sarcastically. "I know better."

He closed his eyes, sighing quietly. “But let’s not talk about that… I’d like to make the most of the time I’ve got.”
Obi-Wan nodded, chuckling at his statement about eloping. “I’m aware, but I’d like to know where we’re going to sneak off to.” He said with a smile. “I mean… you’ve got a galaxy of worlds to choose from, where are we going? We just picking the one that the next ship is heading to?”
“As long as the next ship isn’t heading to a planet with loads of sand I’m up for it.” He answered truthfully. “I really don’t care where we elope to. Do you have a preference?”
The doorbell rang and Anakin leaned in to press a gentle kiss to Obi-Wan’s cheek. “Hold that thought I’m right back.”
Obi-Wan went to answer him when the doorbell rang. He grabbed his datapad while he waited for Anakin to get the food, and he started looking up departure times for different transports. He chuckled softly at his findings. "Well, looks like we're in luck. First thing tomorrow, there are three we can choose from. Mandalore, Alderaan, and Naboo."
“You could have said something when I asked about dancing tonight.” He said, kissing the younger man’s cheek. “Either way, I can teach you to dance. As you can probably tell, it’s not that hard… well at least this kind of dancing isn’t.” He said, remembering his past experiences with dancing. “You have no idea how hard dancing at a gala is…”
“I suppose I could have but I just… I felt a little embarrassed, I guess.” He admitted turning a little red. “Let’s just stick to easy dances first if you don’t mind. That will already be hard enough.” It was hard to imagine Obi-Wan going to a gala. “Is it? I didn’t even knew you ever went to one.”
Obi-Wan smiled softly. "I wouldn't start you on the harder ones until you had the basics down anyways." He said, moving to pause the music. It'd be easier to teach him without it. "And yes, I've been to a gala... many of them actually." He said admittedly. "I used to accompany a friend of mine to them... but that was before the war broke out."
Between the growling sound Anakin made and the rough way he pulled his hair, Obi-Wan knew that whatever competition Anakin had manifested, Anakin won right now. He moaned against his lips, parting them almost on command. He pressed against him, moving his hand along Anakin’s chest, causing the younger man’s shirt to ride up.
His tongue slipped inside Obi-Wan’s mouth once he opened them, making their make-out session intenser. The night air was chill against his bare chest, causing goosebumps to rise. Despite the cold he arched into his touch, craving for more. His hands were pulling at his lovers hair in encouragement to continue.
Obi-Wan couldn't help the loud moan that escaped his lips when Anakin pulled his hair. His hand gripped his shoulder, keeping him steadied as he fiercely kissed back, closing the small gap between them, making sure to press against Anakin just right for him to feel how his actions were effecting him.
