PCOS diet says no sugar. Stevia says Rs. 1,200. I say, screw it. If my ovaries are going to be useless, might as well let them enjoy mithai on the way down.

Oh, to be loved by Aakar Mishra. ✨
The man who steps into a room and suddenly it feels safer. The man who doesn’t just protect you from the world, but makes you believe you were worth protecting all along. He will stand in front of every storm, every insult, every shadow that dares to touch you and he’ll do it with that quiet strength that makes you melt.
The man who looks at Kriti, curves and all, and doesn’t see her as something to fix, shrink, or change but as something to adore. In a culture obsessed with “slim-trim,” he’s the one saying, “You’re fucking gorgeous, every inch of you.” The kind of love that makes her body feel like art, like home, like it was always meant to be worshipped.
The man who listens. Who doesn’t laugh off her boundaries or negotiate her conditions. Who nods and says, “That’s reasonable. You deserve that, Kriti.” Because he knows love doesn’t mean control. It means freedom, and choosing each other anyway.
And then there’s his way of loving in the little things. Rolling up his sleeves to wash a plate beside her, showing up at her door just to confess, “I missed you.” His voice, his chuckle, that raised eyebrow, somehow playful and reverent all at once. He even teases, “Fine, I’ll grow a Ranveer Singh-level beard if that’s what it takes to win you over.” Who does that? Only him.
To be loved by Aakar is to finally exhale. To be desired not in spite of who you are, but because of it. To feel fire and safety in the same heartbeat. To know that even in your pajamas, messy hair and bare face, someone will look at you like you hung the moon.
Oh, to be loved like that. Oh, to be loved by him. 🥀
Since they can’t control women anymore, they just underpay us. They tried keeping us in the kitchen. Didn’t work. We brought our degrees, dreams, and “difficult” opinions to the workplace instead. So now, they hand us 60% of a paycheck and act like it’s a favor. “SmIlE mOrE” and “yOu’Re So BoSsY” are just the modern-day shackles now with fewer calories! Because if they can’t own us, the next best thing is to undervalue us.
And let’s be honest, nothing soothes a fragile ego like making a woman work twice as hard for half as much. But sure, tell me again how feminism isn’t necessary anymore. I’ll be over here being “too ambitious” for daring to pay my own bills.
I told my family I’m trying to cut down on carbs for PCOS. They stared at me like I said I joined a cult. Dinner table be like: 6 rotis, a big bowl of rice, 0 support. And I still end up eating that damn atta roti because… what else is there? Air?
As if PCOS wasn’t already ruining my skin my mood my hormones my appetite my energy and my entire will to live. Now I also have DARK UNDERARMS??? Like what's next? A surprise beard? A second chin? Maybe a full body sugar crash just for vibes? I’m so tired of fighting my own body every damn day. One thing clears up and another issue just unlocks like I’m in some hormonal video game I never signed up for. Can I please catch a break or do I need to sacrifice a goat to the hormone gods at this point?
WOMEN ARE BEING UNDERPAID.
I have a degree, a job, a killer work ethic and STILL can’t afford my PCOS supplements. Like??? Why is managing my hormones so expensive? Pay us PROPERLY. We’re not asking for luxury. We just want to exist without going broke for basic health.
Sincerely,
An exhausted girlboss with unbalanced hormones and an empty wallet. 💅🏼
Inositol costs Rs. 100-150 a sachet. Taken daily. That’s Rs. 3000-4500 a month just to maybe get a period. This isn’t a supplement. It’s rent for my uterus.
I already feel like a bloated, tired, cranky science experiment. Then I go to buy my meds and the pharmacist’s like, “that’ll be your dad's and your entire salary.” Bro I’m sick, not Jeff Bezos.
I miss my romance novels. Once upon a time, I could devour 400 pages of emotional tension, longing glances, and slow-burn kisses in one sitting. Now I read one chapter, feel my brain buffering, and the next thing I know it’s the next morning and I’m waking up fully clothed, phone somewhere under me, neck at a 90° angle. Adulting really said: "no dreamy fictional men for you. just deadlines, back pain, and random fatigue naps you didn’t consent to.” I didn’t ask for this. I wanted book boyfriends, not a bedtime blackout at 10 pm.
Desi men will literally survive dengue, load-shedding, and expired biryani from a thailay wala...but melt into emotional ashes if a woman says “I want a career.” He’ll be like: “i want a simple girl who stays home.” Sir, your entire vibe screams "mentally unavailable and professionally confused." Don’t act like you're the prize when you still use your elder brother's Wi-Fi.
You know what really scares them?bNot feminism. Not education. But a woman who doesn’t need him for anything except maybe opening a tight jar. And let’s be real we’ve got rubber gloves for that. Or we could tap the edge of the lid with the back of a knife. So no, Nabeel. We will not “settle down” just to help you settle your self-esteem.
Women who say "I don’t like shopping" are lying. You don’t like it? Babe, do you also not like oxygen? Or joy? Or that little hit of dopamine when your online order finally arrives and you open it like it’s a gift from your past self who knew you’d need cheering up?Even when we’re broke, we shop. It’s called window shopping. It's free, emotionally damaging, and basically retail therapy without the receipts. So unless you’re a houseplant thriving off indirect sunlight and self-restraint, don’t lie. You like shopping. We all do. It’s not a habit. It’s a lifestyle.
He said, “oh wow, you did botany? That’s such a cute degree for girls.” Like yes, Bilal. I spent four years learning plant anatomy, hormone signaling, and climate stress responses, but sure, let’s call it cute like it's a glitter sticker on your physics notebook that you never opened.
This is the same guy who failed 10th grade biology because he thought the mitochondria was a country. And now he sells SIM cards in front of Al-Fatah like he’s the next Steve Jobs. But I’m the one with the cute degree.
Everyone: “Eat clean snacks for PCOS! Try corn chips, kale chips, air fried hope!”
Me: Sitting with my pack of salted bakery wale crisps because if I’m going to cry over cystic acne, I might as well do it with flavour. Corn chips are cute, but let’s be real nothing slaps like potato when your hormones hate you and so does your bank account. Crunch therapy? Activated.
Had one job. One seed. Pumpkin. For day 15 of my hormonal mess. Walked into the kitchen and my sister’s just casually snacking on them like trail mix because they're oh so good. Now I’m ovulating with rage instead.
Doctor: “You just need to manage stress.”
Also doctor: prescribes a diet I can’t afford, meds that cost half my salary, and says “just relax.”
Sure. Let me relax while my ovaries play dead and my bank account cries.
Seed cycling sounded cute until I realized I need to buy 4 types of seeds and rotate them. Rs. 400 here, Rs. 500 there, and still my ovaries are like “nope.” At this point I should just plant them and hope they grow into new ovaries.
I don’t like getting my periods but I also don’t like not getting my periods. Catch me crying over cramps and crying when they disappear for 3 months.
Just ✨PCOS things ✨
