Risk Assessment Chapter 1 - Part 1: Choir Practice
Kris: Noelle, you coming?
Noelle: N-no… I think I want to stay with Azzy.
December: Really Elly? Come on, there’s nothing to be afraid of.
Asriel: Dess, don’t… we’ll just hang back here, okay?
December: Alright… well, come on Kris. Hopefully we find something we can tell them about, and they’ll get jealous they didn’t come with us, HA!
* The shelter door opens, you recoil. As the duo enters, a faint light coming from inside illuminates their shadowy figures. Dess drags the door behind her and it makes a long metallic screech, concluded by a bang as the door sets into place.
Asriel: Well… I guess while we wait for them, uh… you did pretty good in choir practice today.
Asriel: Yeah! I was pretty impressed, you’ve come a long way. I, um… actually like coming out here to practice, by myself. I guess now that you’re a little older, you can come with me now. Your parents probably wouldn’t like the idea of you being out here, though.
Noelle: No, it’s okay! If it’s with you, it’ll be fine!
Asriel: Heh… well, uh, I guess we could practice out here then, if you want. I know sometimes practice is hard with everyone else there, so this can be your little bit of freedom.
Noelle: Faha, that sounds fun!
Asriel: Alright, then I’ll start us off.
“Heaven knows the story that we’ve born…”
* Some time passes, no sign of Kris or Dess. They’re probably having the time of their life, running around in there.
Asriel: Hm… you think we should check on them?
Asriel: Yeah… sorry. I won’t make you. I’ll just step in a bit, call out for them, okay? I’ll be right here, Elly.
* He gently opens the door.
