Build: Lean, with some curve to her. Seems unable to put on much in the way of fat.

Distinguishing Marks: The areas around her scales, her hands, and her feet seem to have shifting ‘ink stains. She calls it being shadowstained.

Common Accessories: Maigo is rarely seen without her odd little mirror pendant tucked under her clothes; a small round mirror half cracked and permanently smoke-stained, hanging from a thin silver chain. The rest of her jewelry tends to be simple, often in silver, yellow, black, and dark blue.

There is also something distinctly off about her, but she seems kind enough that it doesn’t much matter. She often sees in shades of grey, rather than black and white, and seems loathe to refer to ‘light’ as ‘good’.

The Healer: Maigo has slowly started to make a small name for herself as a healer in the Shroud and is slowly branching out into the other city-states. For all her oddity, she’s proven capable, quick, and with a sweet bedside manner. She also doesn’t ask more questions than she absolutely has to.

The Conjurer: Maigo is the oddity of the Stillglade Fane. Found passed out in the shadow of the Everschade, even the Elementals were unsure what to make of her. She was kept an eye on, and through the efforts of the guild and learning conjury herself, she’s regained enough of herself to be able to function. The guild no longer oversees her every move, though she is expected to check in once a moon. For a while, however, she was a student and an errand girl, essentially, and a patient before that.

An UnSundered Soul: Maigo is not of the Source or her Shards. From another world entirely, her soul is whole and complete, a dark stain against the bright backdrop of Hydaelyn’s aether. Those who can sense aether often think her simply extremely gifted, though others may wonder otherwise…

Contacts and Friends!: PLEASE GIVE THIS GIRL SOME FRIENDS. She lost basically everyone she knew, and her lone ‘friend’ no matter the RP is a traveling Kha Xaela (her in-game retainer) who has decided to be her bodyguard.

Shipping: I am shipper trash, and Maigo has never known romance, never known non-familiar or platonic love. Love my Eldritch Forest Witch.

I work fulltime and help my spouse with things [as they’re visually impaired], so my game time can be limited. But I try to be on when I can! If we need to schedule something, let me know! I’ll see what we can do!

I’m in the US Mountain Timezone, so I’m in this very odd space compared to a lot of folks. But I’m always happy to see how I can accommodate!

I’m on Discord a lot, except when at work, so it’s often the easiest way to get a hold of me off-Tumblr or out of game!

I’m still very new to in-game RP, so please bear with me. I’m happy to get more experience with it, however!

Apprentice!Kaida: -motions to game- Sweetheart with some sass to her, could go any of the routes tbh. Kaida’s a pansexual disaster and all six routes fall under ‘her type’.

Magician!Kaida: Sweet, sassy, confident, loves a good mystery, loves learning all she can about magic and the mystical, travels all over. Sells charms and enchanted crystals in towns to make a living. Is most closely aligned with shadows, and tends to specialize in magic that makes it easier to hide and escape and protect from those who would mean you harm. Has a black wolf large enough for her to ride named Uigite for a familiar, and a red dun draft horse she calls Amber who acts as a pack animal. Still a pansexual disaster.

In Need of Rent Help

Okay. Kai here; I know I made a post last month. I did manage to make it with help from family, but the situation has turned less than happy. I’m still in the process of finding a new job, but my current one, thanks to me having to call out for health reasons, has severely cut my hours. As in ‘even with paychecks and tips, I can’t make rent even if I paid none of my bills’ severely. And two others in the house have had health issues. Rent is due by the 3rd of August or we get a late fee. And if we don’t have rent in by the…5th iirc, our rental company will start the process of looking to evict us. That is something we cannot afford, considering one of us had to take out a loan just to get the money to get us this place…and Denver, lovely and wonderful as it has been, is not an easy place to find housing in, especially with evictions on record.

We’re honestly probably about US$1,000 short for rent, unless I can convince work to actually give me a paycheck in advance…then it’s only about 600 short.

I know people don’t like parting with their hard earned money, especially for someone who’s having as much trouble in the last several months as I’ve had, so I’m also going to be offering commissions. My spouse @yolandajulius will also be taking one commission. [Our examples will be under a read more at the end of this post.] Payment will need to be up-front due to the nature of the situation, and we will be slow; I’m still working, despite the cut hours, and I’m in the process of getting medications I desperately need again while Nova is working with their own health issues.

But we really need the help. If you want to simply help out, awesome. But if not, we have commissions, and I’m going to be streaming as well over the next few days. Money can be sent to Nova’s cash.me, or my PayPal.
