Let’s face it. It’s been a while since people have had something to look forward to. While restrictions have eased up here, there are parts of the world locking down again. Here at The Shed we saw an opportunity to do a few things at once... improve on our current menu, make our food epic for takeout, and give folks something to get excited about. Our staff and owners have been working tirelessly for months to put together what is essentially a brand new restaurant. A more fitting, brand new restaurant. We actually had a giggle when Chef Terry brought the concept to us a few months ago. “Let’s turn the Shed into a BBQ joint”, our reply “Oh my gosh, it’s so obvious!” So here we are in a soft opening phase, we welcome you back to the newly overhauled Shed and Thank You so much for trying it out. We’ll be working out the kinks over the next few weeks, so please be kind and honest, we welcome your feedback! As we do have limited capacity we have designated a section of our bar as a takeout window; please call ahead of time to order and then look for the signs when you arrive. What to expect...

We have the option to dine in and are strictly following the province’s health protocol. Here are some of things that you can expect when joining us. • All patrons will be expected to sanitize their hands upon entering this establishment. This includes guests seated on the patio. • Maximum 6 people seated per table. • Allow ample space (approx. 2m) between yourself and individuals you didn’t come with. This includes our staff (who will approach you only when necessary). Tables have already been spaced in accordance with these guidelines • Please remain in your seat (refrain from socializing with those you didn’t come with). • You will be asked for your name & phone number for contact tracing. A best practice to reduce the spread of COVID should it arise. • Please be courteous to our staff. They are front line workers and are working hard to give you the best experience they can with all of the rules that have been placed upon them and our establishment. Parties/individuals not in compliance with these rules may be asked to leave. Thank you for your patience and cooperation in keeping our guests and staff safe and healthy. **Hours ** Thursday-Sunday 1 PM - 10 PM No minors permitted after 7 PM

Seating Maximum group size of 6. Front and back patio will be open. Inside will be at 50% capacity. All seating on patios and inside will be properly distanced.

Menu We are limiting our menu so that we can have a kitchen staff of 1. This decision was made to reduce costs incurred with limited seating, and to limit the number of total people in the establishment. See menu here

There will be no printed menus provided, please have your device with you to view our menu when you visit.

Dinnerware We’ve made the decision to temporarily use disposable dinnerware & cups. Upon deciphering health and safety suggestions around Covid in food & drink establishment; the highest potential cross-contamination hot spot is the dish-washing area. It’s in the safety of our staff and customers to limit the potential contaminants coming back into our kitchen as much as possible. We will provide recyclable and compostable products where we can, customers will be asked to dispose of their own dinnerware accordingly. Please do not bring your own dishes. This has not been an easy decision and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Service Please, patiently wave down a server if you need something. Table checks will be limited.

Update, May Long Weekend

We just wanted to let everyone know that we’re still here and that we still don’t have plans for reopening even with Phase 2 of BC’s restart plan on May 19. Any changes to our business will be posted here first.
