"Aha, lots of interesting questions! Let's see now...
Our first date went even better than I anticipated. I admit I was nervous, it had been many years since I considered dating anyone. But we spent an amount of time getting to know each other, and it was in our own quiet space. That's a benefit of being royalty, I must say. You can afford to prepare a romantic evening in your own castle.
As for who confessed first, that would be me! I could tell Sugar was more of a reserved, quiet person. While I prefer to be honest, even if it's blunt. So telling her how I truly felt was something I was comfortable with. Luckily, the feelings were mutual, so it wasn't...embarrassing.
Sugar and I have several activities in common. We both like to read books, but not just any kind; comic books, plot driven stories, lots of fiction. I found myself interested in the genre, which was quite a surprise. We also enjoy baking, as well as shopping. Another royal benefit, not to brag.
I was just told what a..."love language" is, and I have to agree with Sugar that words of affirmation fits me best. I'd prefer verbal affection above any other. Writing letters has been a habit of mine for over 1,000 years, and it's never steered me wrong. Well, almost never. Not to bring up my past...that's for another time.
And as for gifts, I buy Sugar whatever she likes! All she needs to do is express interest in an item. Plus, she knows she always has access to our royal credit card. She has stated she doesn't like to overuse it, which is a respectful gesture. But it really wouldn't bother me either way. She deserves to be spoiled, even just a little."
