This blog is for an SCP welcome home au that's being made by @easterartist , @thesouloftherift , and @lushy-nights !

What exactly is going on in the blog?: SCP 999 has taken on a new form! And SCP 682 has taken on a new form as well! Currently those are the only two SCPs we have shown so far!

SCP 999 has taken on the form of Wally Darling! Although, some things seem a bit.. different with this change in appearance! And SCP 682 has taken on the form of Barnaby! Who is also changed with the change in form.

Currently the only refs we have made so far is for the goop boi! Here they are!:

One is for when his legs are formed, and the other is when he is more Melty!

The ref for 682 is currently being made and this post will be updated with his ref!

He squeaked happily, choosing to absorb it instead of eating it with his eyes since it was set on him. It was absorbed easily, and happy sounds left him.

who was your home? do I need to make you one?

".... He was.. my house..? I think..?", He mumbled, his voice going small again. His slime is dripping excessively once more. He puts his hands on his face , gaining a confused look. "... It's confusing... He was but wasn't my house.."

why did you become wally?

He seems to think for a moment before cooing, flapping his arms as he replies in broken common," Makes.. other Happy!" He babbles then, gurgles leaving him as well.

Do you remember your mom?

“My…mom? Of course I do! She was a chi-no, she was human…wait, no, that, that isn’t right. She was big, bigger than I’ve ever grown, she was smaller than me she was-“

INCIDENT REPORT:

The anomaly classified as SCP-682 was asked about its mother by Guest Researcher ███████. The anomaly began to answer the researcher’s question, before becoming silent. The lights in the containment cell went out for approximately thirty seconds, after which they were reactivated. Guest Researcher ███████ has still not been located.

… hm. What’s a Wally without a home? Do you have a home, 999?

He paused, his expression turning blank again. He actually stopped moving entirely, staring as he remained silent.

He, after a moment, starting dripping alot more than usual. And his lower half melted into a puddle. He makes a sharp noise, his eyes becoming smaller.

Another noise leaves him, it sounding quite upset as his goo started to shiver.

He kept melting until he was a puddle of goo, only his eyes being visible now. The puddle is shaking.

A door slides open in the distance.

And speaking of doors opening, a certain reptilian canine would stroll right into 999's containment cell at that very moment. His eyes would widen at the side of the goopy puddle on the floor, and he'd drop to all fours, padding over to his younger brother and gently poking at him with his nose. "Walls? Ya okay, lil' buddy?"

The slime puddle was completely silent for a moment, the goo that made up his body shivering.

After that moment, a small gurgle leaves the creature, except it didn't sound like the usual ones. Instead, it vaguely sounded like a faintly said word.. so faint you couldn't understand it.

Barnaby cocks his head to the side, his ears perking up. "What was that, lil' buddy? Didja say somethin'?"

The puddle wobbles, more gurgles and slimy sounds leaving him.

It took a second, but more clear vocal sounds left him,"... Mhm... I...dunno... How... I... Feel..."

Barnaby's face stretches into a grin, and he barks out a joyful laugh. "Ya can talk! This is-this is great!" His long, reptilian tail wags back and forth behind him for a second before he shakes his head, returning to the task at hand. "So...lil' buddy...what happened? Did something cause you to...you know, suddenly be able to talk?"

"... No...", was the quiet reply, the puddle slightly reforming Wally's head to peek up at his brother.

He was silent for a moment before continuing," I.... they asked about Home.. I... Confused.." The puddle wobbled, small ripples going through it.

“They…asked about Home? The Anons? How do…how do the Anons know about Home?”

He cocks his head to the side, glancing around the room.

“Wait…do you remember Home?”

"they did...I.. dunno..", He mumbled, his head losing shape even more. The blob fell silent, puddlfying again.

There was a long pause before he continued,".. yes.. and no... "

“Yes…and no? What does…oh. You don’t have all of your memories? Is that it, lil’ buddy?”

That would make sense…even he didn’t have all of his memories intact, although he knew that they were there somewhere.

He made the 'mhm' noise again, and gurgle leaves him,"... Both memories are different.. I know Home.. but I also don't."

He's slowly solidifying, his body once more taking on the appearance of Wally. His expression seems troubled despite the smile on his face.

“Yeah…I know the feeling, lil’ bro. My memories are all scattered, and yours are split in two.“

He’d pat his younger brother on the head, giving the goopy puppet a reassuring smile.

“Don’tcha worry, Walls. We’ll figure this out, just like we always do. I promise.”

He hummed, him leaning on his brother now. He hugs him with sleeve covered hands, his slime wobbling. He mumbled an 'ok' in reply, still dripping excessively.

ANOMALY LOG

DESCRIPTION:

Upon careful consideration and consultation with the Overseer Council, the SCP Foundation has decided to classify the phenomena in which entities both anomalous and non-anomalous are spontaneously transformed into beings resembling characters from the television program Welcome Home. This phenomena, now classified as SCP-████, has affected two of the Foundation’s most prominent anomalous entities, those being SCP-999 and SCP-682, transforming them into entities resembling the characters Wally Darling and Barnaby B. Beagle respectively, as well as one member of D-Class personnel, in an event described below.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

D-████, upon a daily check-in, was found to have been affected by SCP-████, having been transformed into an anthropomorphic avian, described as having blue feathers and a yellow beak. The character the D-Class was transformed into was determined to be Sunny Songbird, a character scrapped from the television program and replaced with the character of Eddie Dear. Tests have been scheduled, although they have not been carried out yet.

DESCRIPTION: SCP-682 made a request to Researcher A███ for a VHS tape of Welcome To The Neighborhood, the first episode of the television program Welcome Home.

██/██/████: Doors begin opening on their own.

██/██/████: Anomalies (specifically SCP-999 and SCP-682) begin interacting and conversing with empty air. All scanners have picked up no presence of any kind during these interactions.

██/██/████: Clanging in the walls, objects being disturbed when Foundation personnel engage in arguments.

██/██/████: Part of Junior Researcher ███’s lunch, specifically a bowl of fresh strawberries, disappearing before ███’s eyes.

He's currently sitting on the ground, him looking up at the sound of the voice. The goopy Wally nods enthusiastically once he hears the question, letting out a sound akin to a purring giggle. He claps his goopy hands, his smile growing wider as you say his name.

*tries to take a bite out of 999*

He stares at whoever tried to bite him, tilting his head. His eyes are big and his smile remains on his face. He reaches with a currently uncovered hand and pats their head gently.

Both of yall, if you can, what’s the best candy?

"I like gummy hot dogs! Almost as good as the real deal, ya know?" He grins, picking up a gummy hot dog from a nearby table. Wait...that table wasn't there before, was it? He tosses it into his mouth, licking his lips. "As for Wally, he likes it all! Lil' guy lives exclusively on candy, and there's really nothin' he doesn't like!"

He pats 999 on the head, handing him a candied apple.

999 makes some goopy sounds, them sounding just as happy as he was when he accepted the candied apple in his currently sleeve covered hands. He stared at it, and small chunks started to vanish from the treat, 999's goo starting to wobble as it did.

“Oh, ya finally figured that out? I was wondering when ya’d be able to do that again, ya know.”

The reptilian canine grins warmly down at his younger brother, patting the goopy entity on the head once again.

A sound akin to a goopified purr left the creature, him closing his eyes and lifting his head into the pats. He moved closer to his brother, leaning on the other as the purr-like sound became louder. Then he goes back to eating , still smiling.

999, do you like being called by a different name too?

He looked up at the sound of the voice, smiling happily as he made some incomprehensible noises. He nodded quickly, rocking on his heels as he did. He flapped his arms, somehow not slinging goo everywhere.

"Humans? They're...disgusting great! Wouldn't be who I am this very day if not for them, after all!"

Has anyone gotten close to actually killing you?

"Ha, inspired by? I was him, pal. Not anymore, of course, but, as hard as it may be to believe, this lil' pooch was once the most dreaded Ess See Pea in this whole facility!"

He says that as if he wasn't anymore-

"As for killing me...nope! Not one bit! That's why they call me tha' Impossible-To-Harm Canine, ya know?"
