Help for The Sims 3 -- Create a World

What Challenge Would You Like Me To Try?

I like any sort of challenge, really, preferably the ones that are short-term and not legacies (but I suppose I could do them too). Keep in mind I only have the following four expansion packs so whatever challenge you request have to coincide with:

- Generations

- Supernatural

- Pets

- Late Night

- Seasons

What challenge would you like me to try? Please provide the instructions, either from a link or a text document. I will post the results on my simblr.

The Sims 3 Bachelor Challenge Review

The challenge was entertaining because of the way the sims interacted among each other, and it goes fast (a week) so it never gets boring. It's a great way for your sim to find the perfect match.

One of the problems I detected was the one in the group dance date. When I sent all my sims to go dance with Lavar, all the interactions cancelled for some reason so nothing ended up happening. So I just let them do whatever they wanted in that room for a couple of hours.

Another problem I encountered while playing this challenge was the reputation. One could interpret this in both ways - as being entertaining or utterly annoying. For me it was both. I think the reputation thing defeated the purpose of this challenge as a whole, yet at the same time was quite amusing to watch my sims get all riled up at each other.

All in all, I enjoyed it. Would I do this again? Probably, but it could get boring if one does it enough times. But that's just me.

The Sims 3 Bachelor Challenge - Day 5

I had Lavar flirt with the girls one last time. Alisha, (surprisingly) is liking it.

But Emily is not, even though they flirted yesterday.

But yet, she did, later on. What is this on and off thing?

Emily gets eliminated, because of the low relationship with Lavar.

And the winner is... Alisha! In my next post there will be photos of their engagement and wedding ceremony.

My input: What the what?! Emily is having some mad mood swings. "Do you like him or do you not?" Darn, I really hoped she would win! But Alisha ruled at the end. Even though I do not like the victor, I can see that they are happy together. But I have a feeling their relationship won't last long... I still think Emily is better for him.

The Sims 3 Bachelor Challenge - Day 4

Lavar gets a little flirty with the girls.

In this time in the competition, my sim had to confess his attraction to the girls and kiss them. Surprisingly, Alisha rejected his kiss!

Lavar had no problem kissing Emily.

Angelica remained neutral throughout. They did not kiss.

Emily observes Lavar and Alisha's flirtatious exchanges. She is not liking this!

Emily, no doubt jealous, tries flirting with Lavar, but Lavar rejects her flirty advances.

Alisha and Emily are not getting along! Things are really starting to heat up.

Both Alisha and Emily reject him.

Probably thinking it's no use, Lavar goes and flirt with Angelica.

It seems as though Emily has once again taken a liking to Lavar.

To no one's surprise, Angelica is eliminated.

My input: I utterly can't believe that Alisha rejected his kiss! And to think, she being possessive and jealous and all? I would have never guessed! Kind of glad Emily and Lavar shared a kiss, though. I am not surprised that Angelica did not since they've been distant. I like the conflict between Alisha and Emily, though, it really stirs things up!

The Sims 3 Bachelor Challenge - Day 3

Day 3: Before the elimination, have the Bachelor/Bachelorette do one “Flirt” interaction with all of the single sims. it’s time for another group date! It’s pretty much the same as the dance date the day before, except there is only 5 sims today! Then it’s time for chess dates! Make all of your single sims play chess, and have your Bachelor/Bachelorette join them for about an hour each.

Lavar flirts with the girls. While flirting with Rebecca, you can see Alisha's jealous expression.

Then it's the group date! Lavar slow dances with Angelica.

Lavar plays chess with each girl for an hour. Not much interesting happened, but some girls observe the matches before their turn.

Lavar talks a little with Angelica, then flirts with Tamsen.

Rebecca is eliminated due to the lowest relationship with Lavar. I reckon she is sad to leave.

My input: I was taken aback when Rebecca was the one having to leave. I thought she had a good chance of making it far in this game! Alisha's still jealous as usual, though.

The Sims 3 Bachelor Challenge - Day 2

it’s time for the group dates! Put your Bachelor/Bachelorette sim in the room with the stereo and turn it on. Pause the game. Select all of the single sims and select “Dance Together” with him/her. Play the game. From there on, it’s a race! The first one there gets to dance with him/her; the others can dance among themselves. Do that for two or three hours, and after that, it’s the one on one dates. Have your Bachelor/Bachelorette do the “Chat” interaction with each single sim once.

I put them all in the same room with the stereo on.

Problem detected: When I tried to get them all to dance with Lavar, all the actions canceled, or were `X`ed out. So I let them just do whatever they wanted.

Rebecca asks to slow dance with Lavar. Aren`t they cute together?

After I let him chat with each and every girl. Then this happened (with Tamsen)

Lavar talks with Alisha.

Emily then flirts with Lavar!

Alisha does not like that. At all.

Carmen is eliminated, due to the lack of relation with Lavar.

The Sims 3 Bachelor Challenge - Day 1

Day 1 is really just allowing the sims to mingle among each other.

Alisha tries to show her daring side - but Lavar is not liking it.

But then it seems like Alisha and him are hitting it off nicely. Lavar initiates a game of tag with her.

Alisha is talking a lot with Lavar! Unfortunately, the only thing she ever talks about is herself, and after a while Lavar finds it boring.

Lavar then mingles with the other girls, Angelica and Jeannette.

The girls engage in a `friendly` water balloon fight!

Emily feels attracted to Lavar.

Lucky for her, the feeling is mutual.

Meanwhile, Alisha is continuing to bore him.

Over the day, Lavar and Emily become good friends. Alisha doesn`t like that however, and tries to steal her shadow.

Lavar gives Jeannette a good scare. (and Alisha is in the back, impatient because they are blocking the way to the dishwasher.)

Rebecca tries to talk with Lavar, but Alisha steps in before she does.

In conclusion, Jeannette is eliminated for having the lowest relationship with Lavar. Lavar scaring her had something to do with that.

My input: My favorite so far, and I hope she does win, is Emily Rossi. They seem to be getting along quite well and I really do feel she is good for him. I can`t say the same for Alisha, though. Alisha I find quite boring, because all she ever talks about is herself. Nothing else. And she is quite feisty!

The Sims 3 Bachelor Challenge - Meet The Contestants!

Here I tested out MTS' bachelor/bachelorette challenge: http://modthesims.info/t/412146

During this challenge, I made sure that free-will was high and I seldom interfered. It was interesting to see how they were when free-will was on! All the traits of the contestants are randomized, (I customized their looks of course) except for Lavar's. It made for some pretty interesting sims! (and some brutally annoying ones)
