the shawl is inspired by ancient Finnish costumes that can be seen, for example, here. iron age in Finland apparently lasted from 500 BC until 1300 AD.
I've been blabbering all over the internet about my Finnish/Karelian roots anyway, but I'll mention it again just for good measure :D other than that, it's a commission.
two pattern options, both come in the 28 swatches of the historian palette. found in glasses. uses the texture space for both bracelets and ring fingers: it will conflict with anything that uses the same texture space. blurry as hell, I know. there wasn't much space to fit it in. some slight clipping around the elbows, otherwise I'm quite satisfied.

Competition portion
The event will take place over 4 weeks, starting on 5/8/26. Each week, submitted sims will go through challenges; the outcomes of these challenges will be based on the submitted stats you have picked for your sim, the stats being :

The participant has 20 points to distribute between these stats
There are also some optional stats and traits: Magic, Dragon Rider, Famed Beauty, Valyrian steel holder. You have 5 points to distribute.
These provide small bonuses and buffs/debuffs
Each week features five core events with some random chances and dependent ones sprinkled, some of which will include all the participants, and some will have a few that will be drawn at random.
Each event has 2 stat focuses, for example, wealth and intrigue. Based on the stats picked the will be given a score for each event, which will be added up. The Sim/sims with the lowest scores of that week will be eliminated.
Through the events, your sim can gain buffs and debuffs depending on stats, optional traits, and chance.
There will be a variety of events, chances to form alliances, schemes, and plots, as well as danger events, which sims with a high amount of debuffs have the chance of being drawn into too. In danger events, your sim may come out fine, be injured, or even die (rarely), although this will always be implied and pg !
All of this will be shown through the story section . At the end of each week, I'll give a score breakdown and an event breakdown of all the possible outcomes and other events that could have happened that week .
submitting sims
To submit a sim you must fill out the form below , you will need to :
⋆˚꩜｡ Create a main character Sim. This Sim may be the claimant themselves or, if the claimant is unable to attend the Great Council, they may act as their representative or proxy.

Where Daena was wilful, wild, and adventurous, Rhaena was dutiful, meek, and passive. She loved to dress in white and gold, and was very fond of lace trim on her sleeves and bodice.
i don't know if i'll ever post my Queen Daenaera Velaryon sim, but it's worth noting that of all the maidenvault sisters, Rhaena bears the strongest resemblance to their mother.

i often fantasize about having an architectural set that's looks *red keepy* enough for my build. today, i can say i have officially made progress. just created window and arch frames for my build. it's not perfect but omgomg *fingers crossed it works out*
Daella was considered sweet, kind, and gentle, with a tender heart. However, she was also a shy, tongue-tied girl, who was easily frightened and quick to cry. She liked flowers but was afraid of gardens, bees, cats, and horses. She was also terrified of dragons and of Summer Islanders
Original set was very Grecian, with an archery theme, so I assume the set was inspired by Artemis, then I decided 'Artemisia (Mugwort)' from the root of 'Artemis' was suitable, so not to directly use the name and to fit with other names I've used for cc with 'ia' as the end.

Functional, but will clip with a few different hats, unfortunately. Not recommended to use a hat with this one, but as always, I tried the best I could.

Style wise, I converted this one as I wondered if I could use it for some of the more intensely grecian 1800s -1810s hair fashions, though in the end, it doesn't much resemble any examples I came across, so this will probably be more useful for those making vikings and greeks from earlier times, I'm not very well researched in those eras, so I can't say for sure. Hopefully it'll be useful to some of you, regardless!
