IT'S TIME FOR REWATCH!
Reposting with updates!🎃
This is the cutest!
Tonight all these lives converge here The mosaics of laughter and cocktails of tears Where fraternal souls sing identical things And it’s beautiful It’s rapturous. It is frightening. ____
I can’t tell you how proud I am to share this with you, an album that just feels so right. A forever thank you goes out to my mentors and friends Max and Shellback for helping me paint this self portrait.
If you thought the big show was wild, perhaps you should come and take a look behind the curtain…
The Life of a Showgirl is out now.

Writing, rehearsing, directing and shooting the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia” was the thrill of a lifetime because I got to be reunited with my Eras Tour family!! I wanted each one-take scene to feel like a live performance and remind us all of how it felt to be at those shows together. Making every moment count. It’s a journey through the chaotic world of show business. I loved working with Rodrigo Prieto, Ethan Tobman and Mandy Moore to dream up these visuals. A huge thank you to this massive cast who kept it 💯 and also kept the secret of this video even existing. It’s out on YouTube NOW!

OMG BEST POKER CARDS EVER!!!
Clarice Julianda in NEWSIES
This show will always be very special to me and I am so honoured to have been given such an iconic role. Spot Conlon, you've been a dream.
no no, you don’t understand..
Spot Conlon as a girl is actually so important.
Spot Conlon who feels she has to be intimidating and feared for the other guy newsies to actually respect her.
Spot Conlon who feels like she can’t show any weakness otherwise people will think less of her.
Spot Conlon, who could be so kind and gentle, but pushes that side of her away because she needs to survive.
Spot Conlon being the most feared and respected newsie in New York while having the kindest heart that she can never show.
Newsies Show Fun Facts
There are 31 backflips in the choreography.
The 16 newspapers in the dance break of Seize The Day are pre-torn so they can be cut in half more easily.
Every newsboy in King of New York owns two pairs of identical shoes: one tap-soled and one soft-soled.
There were microphones attached to the edges of the tables so all of the tapdancing could be heard.
The printing press onstage is a real, functional Chandler & Price press from the early 1900s that weighs 1200 pounds.
Ost’s Broadway set is 24 ft high and has three towers that move 40 times each performance.
Every show uses about 150 newspapers.
There were 150 costumes designed for the show by Jess Goldstein.
One character has 7 costume changes (Nunzio, cop, photographer, Roosevelt, stagehand, Emcee, Bowery visitor)
Darcy’s switch to become a newsie in Carrying the Banner involves a full costume change in under 56 seconds.
The large newspaper bundles are filled with foam to make them lighter.
The 18 ‘Newsie Banner’ bundles are 300 pieces of printer paper glued together and covered in contact paper.
The Broadway lighting system uses 672 instruments and 468 cues.
The 12 different background projections use two incredibly well timed projectors to create all the images.
The full show takes ~175 people to run correctly: 33 cast, 12 musicians, 13 members of road crew, and 120 people for local crew.
i’m going to have to take my newsie cap off santa fe style about this
For those of you that never had the privilege to see Mike Faist in Newsies. This is a snip of Mike covering Jeremy Jordan. Mike is playing Jack Kelly and singing Santa Fe.
I get chills every time I hear it.
