Halloween is done, Dia De Los Muertos is in full swing and another fall tradition is kicking off this Friday in Central Texas. It’s the Wurst time of year. That’s right Wurstfest in New Braunfels is less than a day away!

This is one of our favorite fall traditions. It’s our third year attending together but the festival has been going on for over 50 years. Plenty of live music, sausage, food drinks, and dancing.

My top food pick is always the Wurst-ka-bobs! A kabob with 5 different flavors of sausage and a delicious bread roll. All the food and drinks are amazing.

Grab a hat or silly hat and come with your dancing shoes on. There’s usually about five stages with live bands playing. Good food and drinks in hand, you won’t be able to stop yourself from dancing. Take a look at the Wurstfest website for fun how-to and phrases videos or just follow along with everyone around when you’re there.

This year admission is $12 if purchased by midnight tonight, November 1, 2018. Anytime after that the price will be $15 and children 12 and under are free. There’s also five days with free admission this year. The festival is from November 2nd to the 11th. That’s five out of ten days you can attend with free admission.

Free Wurstfest Admission Friday, November 2: 4-7pm Monday, November 5: 5-10pm Tuesday, November 6: 5-10pm Wednesday, November 7: 5-10pm Sunday, November 11: 3-10pm

SPRECHEN SIE FUN? But always remember to drink responsibly. Lyft, uber, Wurstwagen, Wheels to Wurstfest, there’s plenty of option and no excuses to have a responsible fun time.
