A fourth Emily Wilde book is coming in January!! And Heather Fawcett is in the process of writing a fifth!

Emily Wilde’s History of Dark Faerie is, as the title suggests, a little darker than the previous instalments, but it’s still cozy (by my definition, anyway!) and begins a new story arc for Emily, Wendell, Shadow, Ariadne, et al. It’s a continuation of the series, not a spin-off.

A unicorn painted for the new postcard in June <3 I keep meaning to draw a lot more unicorns for #Junicorn but I just...can't find the time each year. ;_; Maybe I can make it up later in the year.

ANYWAY. This is the current free postcard in my shop! I'm already starting to run low though so I guess the new postcard will come in sooner than later and then I'll have this art for sale as A5 prints instead. :)

I'm still active on here, but I'll have to ask which version you're looking for. Are you looking for the older PC version? Or the PSP version with the updated art style?

I’ve been thinking this for a while, but people realize that the word “murder” only applies to a human killing another human right?

I keep seeing it used for fantasy creatures or animals killing humans. But that’s a misusage of the word. If they aren’t human, they can’t murder you. They can only kill you.

Murder also implies a human killing another human out of malice. Whereas “homicide” is a more broad term for a human killing another human that doesn’t necessary involve malice.

Dropping this artwork of Emily and Wendell from Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries by @heather_fawcett !(the cool mechanical pencil is BACK!) I had such a pleasant time reading the wrap-up to this trilogy in Emily Wilde's Compendium of Lost Tales. I love the transition of Emily dipping her toe into Faerie from the real world in Book #1, having a foot in both worlds in Book #2, and keeping a toe in the real world while in Faerie in Book #3. It created new backdrops and stakes through her journaling journey, with Book #3 being the stakiest stakes of the three! Absolutely love these two DOLTS (Wendell's words, not mine), the best grumpy-sunshine couple since Howl and Sophie. So sad to see them go, but this trilogy seems so easy to pick up and reread again! I want to thank @delreybooks for providing me both an arc and a hard copy of Compendium; I hope to do another papercraft standee featuring the whole trilogy set soon!
