something about being out of reach sits right with me
all girls want is to move to a rural beach town, to turn a beautiful house into a home, to never have to use an alarm, to wake her husband up with kisses, to be loved, to make breakfast while the birds are singing and the ocean is roaring, to have lots of fresh flowers, to read under the tress in her backyard, to write poems and love letters to her husband, to cook for her loved ones, to make the food from scratch, to have babies, to have fun creative silly little hobbies, to take care of her sacred vessel, to go on walks and buy new books, to use the sauna naked every day, to swim naked with her husband under the moonlight, to love love and love.

not to dig anything up, but thoughts?
the fact that it was a 29 straight hour flight means it’s not a trip that could’ve been made via a private mode of transportation (unless you were filthy rich ig)
it’s 2024 are we seriously still not packing earbuds for flights at this point
I assure you there’s no one more miserable than the parent(s). it’s psychological torture when you can’t soothe your distressed baby under the best conditions, let alone when you know a plane full of hundreds of people hate you for it
babies inspire a special kind of vitriol in people that you really don’t see directed at other people who are noisy and disturbing in public. I would rather listen to a baby that can’t help it over someone watching tiktoks without earphones or having a phone convo on speaker but rarely do I ever see the same level of open disgust and I think that’s mostly because it’s usually mothers with the child and women in general but particularly mothers are really seen as fair targets for abuse
I totally support the existence of childfree flights
I promise I get it but babies are people too and have as much right to occupy public spaces as everybody else
Imagine watching a person struggle to soothe their baby for 29h and not asking if they need help
