On Saturday, November 10, take a day for backcountry safety. The Canadian Avalanche Centre is holding a full-day backcountry workshop with great speakers, Q&A, interactive presentations, and a trade show. Tickets are $20, or $15 with a donation to the Community Connection Food Bank. Youth 18 and under are FREE! You can buy a ticket in advance at the Canadian Avalanche Centre office in Grizzly Plaza.
