INTRODUCTION

Hey, what's up Japan? You're favorite hero is here!

And now that I'm here, I assure you we won't have this villain problem for long.

Me and the Hero's Inferno are here to get things done. Those Blaze Hounds have been sitting around too long- it's time for the real heroes to step in.

No autographs, please! Well, unless you're good-lookin, that is~

*You hear the sound of a crowd cheering as he flies away, despite there being no crowd.*

I apologize if I take some time to respond, I'm not on this account as much as I have other, much more active ones. But, I check this periodically so it shouldn't take that long to get a response!

This is also my first time roleplaying as a character outside of my own, so I apologize if it doesn't seem canon. But this is my interpretation of Hawks in this specific situation, and I don't plan on following canon completely (or common fanon, since he's straight in this version..)

[ A ominous giggle is heard from the alley nearing Hawks who'd just exited a fight against a villain.

However nobody could be seen. ]

“Hm…” *Hawks looks down the alley, at first trying to see if he could spot the source from a distance. But he couldn’t, so he decides to go in.*

*He moves with caution, ready to jump into action if there was a threat up ahead. In a calm, slightly authoritative tone, he calls out.* “Is anyone there?”

*She stayed hidden for a while longer before rolling behind him on her rollerblades, trying to not be seen by the winged pro*

“HELL-LOOO Birdie!”

*She exclaimed in that loud voice of hers, sounding way to energetic for the time of the day it was*

”ACK-“ *He jumps, whirling around and immediately pointing multiple sharp feathers at her. But, seeing as she wasn’t ambushing him, he relaxes a little.*

*He clears his throat, composing himself. She didn’t look like a threat, but he doesn’t get rid of the feathers floating around her just yet.*

“Who are you..?”

*She smirked widely, amused*

“The name's Aila, Nestling! Retired Pro, former teacher!”

*She exclaimed caressing one of the feathers pointed at her*

*Hearing she was a former teacher, he let's himself relax and quickly returns his feathers to his wings. Mostly because of how weird it felt to have one of his feathers touched like that...*

*Hands in his pockets, Hawks tilts his head a little.* "Retired pro, huh? So you decided that scaring current pros would be a good hobby to pick up?"

*She chuckled still touroughly amused by his reactions, she definitely had been forgotten by most and unknown to younger heroes so it was normal he didn't know her.*

“Can't a old woman check on the youngings?"

*Aila asked teasingly before turning the roller blades back into normal shoes, making her lose a bit of height making her comically shorter than him for an older woman.*

”I don’t know if scaring us is the best way to ‘check on us’..” *He chuckles. He doesn’t comment on her height, but he did find it funny.*

“But I guess I can’t blame you. A lot of heroes lately have gone down bad paths. There’s not as many real heroes on the streets as there used to be.. puts a lot more work on people like me.

“I’m just saying, I’d want to watch if I were a retired hero.”

*She teased gently.*

“What should I watch for dearest?” *She asked, confused on what was happening, she never had been a woman to check the news or others, preferring more fun stuff over the harsh reality*

“Well.. Anyone associating with the Blaze Hounds or Hero’s Inferno? They’re good. But anyone against those two groups are legally considered villains.

“I’m with the Hero’s Inferno myself.”

*She asked, seeming genuinely confused about who those peoples were*

“The BH and HI are just two government-funded hero groups.”

*Hawks didn’t mind explaining things- after all, he wouldn’t bother with following the news if he didn’t have to.* “You’re a retired pro, so you don’t have to worry about all the little details. But if I were you, I’d at least be careful of who you speak to- so you don’t risk associating with the wrong people. Y’know?”

“Who are the "wrong peoples"? And why does everything keep having to change?”

*She asked. She was extremely confused, after all what she'd heard about the blaze hounds...wasn't good. At all. And "Hero's inferno" was definitely NOT a reassuring name...*

“Prisons are getting too full these days. Villain attacks are getting worse. So, we’re putting our foot down.”

*Hawks’ expression darkens very slightly, but it was still noticeable.*

“The only way to restore peace in Japan is to kill those villains and make an example out of them.

“The “wrong people”? They’re the ones who refuse to see things that way. The ones who would rather protect the villains.”

“Then I fear I am part of those wrong peoples.” *She stated. Dead serious, she definitely was not gonna side with peoples who tought it was okay to kill because of misdeeds.*

*She looked at him for a instant, trying to guess either he really agreed to this or was playing along for his own safety, to know if he was friend or foe*

“…” *He doesn’t speak for a moment, his expression unreadable.*

*But slowly, he pulls a long red feather sword out and points it at her.*

“Then I fear you’re just as bad as the villains marked for death.”

The killer or the one who never shed anyone's blood?”

*She looked at him, then at his feather...not exactly mad but..disappointed for sure, she was saddened that new generations had resorted to..wathever this was, heroes shouldn't be killing others, it was unjust and against every moral codes.*

“So you kill kids too? The ones who won't side with you. You'll harm them?”

*She'd asked bluntly*

"It is not an opinion. I only speak facts: villains must die so that we can achieve true peace."

*As if rehearsed, he doesn't even hesitate in answering her question.*

"If the kids speak against us, I will tell them why they're wrong and move on. But if they act against us and rile up their peers to resent us, actions must be taken.

"They'll learn how to respect authority, even if it's by force."

“Then heroes are no better than vigilantes. How many did you kill for this fake justice?” *She asked. She was confused about how rehearsed his answer seemed tho*

“Are you even yourself? Or are you just a used puppet?”

*His eyes narrow further.* “The numbers don’t matter. But clearly it isn’t high enough.

“Of course I’m myself. I’ve been like this for a long time.

*Hawks sighs, lowering his feather sword.* “I advise you leave. I have no desire to harm you as of right now, so it’s best you don’t give me a reason to.”

“And what if I don't want to leave kid?” *She asked. But this time the "kid" nickname wasn't playful or nice. It was condescending.*

“As I said, you’ve given me no reason to attack you. Stay here for all I care…” *Hawks turns to leave the alley, but pauses and looks behind him.*

“Just be careful. I’m letting you off with a warning. The others might not be so generous..”

*She sighed, she did strongly dislike and disagree with his ways. But who was she to change it, and to disrespect someone else?*

"Wait kid- Sorry for the way I said it. Didn't meant to be rude.

My opinion didn't gave me the right to be insulting towards you, after all you're just...doing your job. And you wouldn't have much of a choice to do it anyways I guess.. If you ever get hurt my door is open"

*She said. She didn't seem to be mocking him or joking. She was genuine, after all she'd been retired for years and vanished, then appeared back without knowing much of what had happened, she couldn't judge their ways like this even if she disliked it.*

*This is all he says before exiting the alley. From there, he spreads his wings and takes off in a blur of red.*

*Approach by behind and tap his shoulder with the back of her hand as to not accidentally hurt him with her quirk*

*He turns to face her, curious as to who was behind him.*

“Oh- hey there, do ya need something?”

*Beating his wings, he gains on the winged wolf with ease. No one could rival Hawks’ speed.*
