Might be a silly thing to say but I just played bits of 2064 again and realized I kinda miss little bits about the game's visual elements that didn't make it to neurodiver. And I don't mean the artstyle because neurodiver's art is such a step up in quality all around, I moreso mean things like how the dialogue text scrolled at relatively the same time as the voice actors saying it so I didn't have to sit there trying to hear the performances while already knowing what they're gonna say. Or how characters frequently switched talk sprites mid-line so their expressions reflect the precise dialogue delivery. They're kinda inperceptable details unless you're like me and spent way too long staring at this game, not to mention they likely took more than a bit of time to code in the timing that way on every individual line, but they really do make a difference in feeling like you're really talking to people

Two years later and now my copy of valentines day is so worn that the spine is falling apart and four pages are falling out and i dont know anywhere that can fix it

so ive decided the next course of action is to cut my favorite pieces out and put it on my wall

- Okay I put gay luna down but i was not expecting ADHD Luna SHES SO ME-

- Oh my lord having an actual speaking protagonist is doing absolute WONDERS for me thank you for solving one of my biggest problems with ROM (unfortunately this loses the self insert aspect of it but yknow i think its a little worth it but thats just me)

- IM LOSING MY MIND CROW IS ABSOLUTELY VOICED BY A GUY WHO DID SAM IN ONE OF THE SAM AND MAX GAMES I KNOW IT

- THE GAME AUTOSAVES..... WAR IS OVER
