Back during the Pacquiao / Mayweather hysteria last year. I kept telling people that the “Good vs. Evil” storyline that the media was shoving down everyone’s throats was bullshit. So last night when I saw the headlines about Manny I just started laughing. 

World boxing champion Manny Pacquiao is taking punches over comments he made to a Philippines media outlet describing gay people as “worse than animals.”

“It’s common sense. Do you see animals mating with the same sex? Animals are better because they can distinguish male from female,” Pacquiao told TV5 in an interview. “If men mate with men and women mate with women they are worse than animals.”

The eight-time boxing champion and born-again Christian is running for a Senate seat in his native country. Elections are in May of this year.
