#What if during the time she was in Pete’s World before JE#what if Rose got a puppy#or maybe Jackie got her a puppy because Rose was so lonely#Jackie thought it’d cheer Rose up#Rose started bringing the puppy with her to the Torchwood labs every day#She couldn’t very well leave it in her flat alone all day#It slept by her feet while she spent late nights working on the dimension cannon#and taking care of the dog reminded her to take care of herself#When the puppy was hungry then Rose would eat too (otherwise she’d forget)#When the puppy was thirsty she’d drink too (otherwise she’d go days only drinking tea and coffee)#The first dimension jump Rose made#the dog tried to follow her through#And it just bounced right back into its proper universe all befuddled and sad#He watched her literally pop in and out of the lab#disappearing and reappearing until Rose finally disappeared for a long time#(Jackie disappeared right after her)#Pete brought the dog to his house and Tony kept it company#But the way that dog bounded out the front door of the Tyler mansion when Rose finally showed up again#tongue lolling and tail wagging so hard his entire back half wiggled#his little fluffy white ears pointed straight up in excitement#And Rose knelt down to pick him up and he’d never been happier in his entire short life#until he met the man attached to the blue pinstriped trousers who came back with her#the man with the sticky-uppy hair who gave epic bellyrubs#and who agreed that the puppy could come on all the globetrotting adventures#that he took with Rose Tyler (via gallifreyburning)

do you ever just passionately miss the first series of doctor who but not just because you miss Nine but because you miss the monsters and the simple story lines that were new and so interesting and the companions that didn’t need a magic back story to be special and weren’t just a new puzzle for the doctor to solve they were just ordinary people with ordinary lives and taught (especially the young viewers) that anyone can be a hero i just really miss season one okay

Moffat really needs to stop making the Doctor comment on Clara’s body and appearance. Not only is it sexist but it is also damaging!

To little girls who would think that this is normal behaviour, that how they look is just a funny gag.

The little boys who would imitate the Doctor. 

The women who watch this and are shocked to see what they experience everyday in life is on Doctor Who as well.

If you do not believe me read what karmaplus’s cousin said after watching an episode. Please note that karmaplus doesn’t want to discuss this any more.

I’ve started compiling a list of Twelve’s put-downs of Clara, which I’ll be updating as new episodes come out.  (I included remarks about her being a control freak, not just her appearance.)

So far there are two episodes in which Twelve doesn’t insult Clara - Robots of Sherwood and Kill the Moon. And guess what? Those are the two that Moffat didn’t write or co-write.

-In An Endless Dream I Loved You-  The Tenth Doctor bidding farewell to his beautiful Rose, in one of the last moments he would ever see or touch her.

-Touching A Memory-  The Eleventh Doctor and Rose Tyler, in shared wonder and disbelief at their impossible reunion. Rose slowly realizes that this strange man is still her Doctor, though his face has changed yet again and he is so much older and sadder, lonelier. It has been centuries for him, and he was so certain that he would never see her again. There is both pain and fondness in his eyes as touches her, as though touching a cherished memory.
