The Skeleton of the Elephant in the Closet of your room... That's ever present, ever decaying, ever gnawing at your soul... You tried to render it irrelevant, yet omnipresent is it’s hold… The Skeleton of the Elephant in the Closet in your soul… All encompassing, and cumbersome will haunt you ’til your tomb. Postpartum won’t cease the depression, Your mother will feel it in her womb. You’ll forever strive for peace, yet will incessantly be consumed… By the Skeleton of the Elephant in the Closet of your room… That keeps you awake in the night like the absence of darkness, minus the moon, The sun no longer peaks through your blinds in morning, Always Midnight, Never the Noon, You try to find bliss Inside your space again, Sadly to find, there's only gloom… Because there’s a Skeleton of an Elephant, in the Closet of your room… Solitude will forever follow you, even in the most crowded of rooms, And in the quietest of spaces, In your skull you'll hear hear the Boom, They'll eventually call you crazy, because only you will know The Truth, That there's a Skeleton of an Elephant in the Closet of your room.
