I’ve gotten a few questions on how I made this gifset, and I figured I would show you, since it’s really not that complicated if you choose the right scenes for it.
This tutorial includes 3 versions of color isolation for gifs and assumes you have basic knowledge of Photoshop and gifmaking.

Your gifs are so cool and vibrant. Please do a coloring tutorial??
Hi, thank you so much!
My coloring process is always the same, and very simple! Under the cut I will explain it:

i’ve been asked a couple of times about how i color my gifs and if i have a tutorial on coloring, so i thought i’d make one. the only things you need for this are photoshop (i use cc 2018, but any ps will do!) and basic gifmaking knowledge, since this tutorial is only about coloring. i’m leaving the tutorial under the cut:

( 16 ) HALF-EATEN BOUQUET .
by @miumariee .
to download, select FILE and MAKE A COPY. edit it in any way that you want, but i ask that you don’t remove the credit. it’s already very small and out of the way.
this is a single-page multimuse doc with an simple set-up that’s easy to edit. to preserve the size and angle of the icons, right-click the image and select REPLACE IMAGE followed by your source. this was my attempt at a single-font challenge. hope you guys like it. :)
CARRD TEMPLATE #004 - [ ALL AT ONCE. ]
this is a FREE carrd template for roleplaying purposes, made with multimuses in mind. #004 ( live preview here ) is basic account friendly, utilizing exactly 50 elements. this carrd contains a rules / etc. page + muse pages separated by media type. it supports ( one image + basic info ) per muse. the default layout is 5 sections with 12 spots each ( max of 60 muses ). you are welcome to edit sections to suit your needs.
this is a VERYminimalistic carrd because of the restriction of 50 elements. each row of ( 4 ) images is condensed into a single image prior to putting it in the carrd - you can download the template below. a row of ( 4 ) muses is condensed into ( 1 ) table, the rules page is condensed into ( 2-3 ) elements : this makes it a bit more difficult to edit, admittedly, but it’s the tradeoff for keeping this basic friendly.
how to obtain : you can get this carrd template ( here ). the minimum price is set to $0 - FREE. if you would like to support me, that is also appreciated.
additional files ( … ) four image template.
please refer tothis post for general information regarding my carrd templates. please do not remove credit.

@INDIEDOCS PRESENTS : CANNOLI . . . A SINGLE MUSE DOC !
cannoli is a google docs template designed for single muse blogs and inspired by sonny carisi from law and order : svu . this is a very structure dependent doc, meaning the content is designed to fit on one page . mobile friendly except for the top title, which can overlap .
want to use it?
click the link, select “file” and then “make a copy”
do not remove the credit under any circumstances.
how to edit it?
the image in the first column is 400 px by 804 px. click the image and then click “replace image” in order to change it.
psd used is currently unreleased but was made by me.
for color scheme changes, the following may be helpful :
the background page color and basic text color are the same.
the quote highlight color and all border colors are the same.
the main title, header and accent color for stats, etc. are the same.
the background of the tables / main header, the quote text and the credit are the same color.
the columns are structured, so adding text beyond what they can hold will disrupt the formatting. however, additional columns can be added by a simple copy and paste if you need more space on a second page.
feel free to fiddle with this to your liking, but give credit still. xoxo
please like and / or reblog this post if you use this template!
I’ve found that I often work with weirdly tinted scenes which are sometimes challenging to colour, so I’m here to share how I tend to work around them.
There is no one way to colour gifs, and something that works for me may not work for you! This post just contains some things I wish I’d known when I started making gifs years ago.
To understand this, you need to:
already know how to make gifs on Photoshop
have basic knowledge of different adjustment layers
I personally use Photoshop CS5.
