so true!
hehehe
I totally do that when I remember to say the right response! By the way... can anyone explain the value or purpose of those changes to me?? If you ask me they seem pretty pointless... If they had come up with more drastic differences that would be one thing but personally I think all the time and money that went into re-translating everything could've been put to better use. Just one Catholic's opinion...
just a little Catholic humor to brighten your day:)
so treat it with respect
I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

Happy Holy Week everyone!!!
I had the cutest thing happen at Church this Sunday... As most of you know it was Palm Sunday this week and ever since I was a kid my mom has helped me tie my palm into a cross. So this week I was trying out a new church in my area and this little boy in front of me kept looking back and finally during the Gospel asked me to make his palm into a cross. It was so cute how excited he was... next thing I know every little one around me is passing me their palms! I just loved seeing how excited they all were about having their own special cross... Hope you all have a good holy week. Hang in there with your lenten promises. Easter is almost here!!
IN GOD WE TRUST.
Like many of us I have family over there... please keep them in your prayers.

And so it begins!!
Stop defending yourself and start defending the real victims.
Dear Cardinal Mahony,
Please take a moment to reflect on your actions. You have been parading around defending yourself in the media. You have let your pride cloud your judgment. Your continued public presence in the church and your self-pitying blogs are hurting those who have already experienced more pain than anyone should experience in a lifetime. You need to stop defending yourself and start defending the real victims.
While you have made a genuine effort to set things right, your initial cover up of the allegations was wrong. You need to take yourself out of the limelight and ask God and those you hurt to forgive your mistakes. Stop defending yourself and start defending the real victims.
While you may have since come to realize that the abuse these victims suffered can not be swept under the rug, the fact that you once took that approach makes many Catholics question your judgement in choosing the next Pope. Do the right thing and remove yourself. Stop defending yourself and start defending the real victims.
Sincerely,
the true catholic
Be so good they can't ignore you.
