THE TRUTH ABOUT INDULGE NIGHTCLUB
FACT The nightclub has posted online (Instagram) That they are closing for renovations for 3 weeks
FACT The City has shut down Indulge! They have violated building codes. They have Violated Fire codes. And have LIED TO EVERYONE including the staff & community.
FACT On March 9th they were SHUT DOWN! and continued to operate ILLEGALLY! (see attached notice from the city that was posted to the front door of INDULGE)
FACT The condo board behind the nightclub is suing the owner AARON WAY (who is the owner of the den) He is up to his eyeballs in tens of thousands of dollars in legal bills and cannot afford to stay open.
FACT Aaron Way and INDULGE are trying desperatly to find a new space to put his failing club. After The Den failed he tried his hand at a gay bar because there was none in the city and the folks were desperate for a space. (he made a gay bar to try and save his bar)
FACT He owes MONTHS UPON MONTHS of back rent to the building owner. (The building owner is trying to evict him)
FACT He owes upwards of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS to Nova Scotia power because he failed to pay his power bill for 6 months (A man from the power company came into the building to shut it off)
FACT He has not paid certain producers (DJ's) for events held in the venue (He owes a lot)
HE DOES NOT HAVE AN OCCUPENACY PERMIT!
HE BUILT WALLS AND CHANGED THE FLOORPLAN WITHOUT PERMITS and now has to change everything if he has a glimmer of hope to reopen.
FACT Aaron way will always be the owner, he cannot sell it because of the ongoing legal battles. Any announcment by INDULGE that there is a new owner is FALSE.
