With this, I’ll officially announce I’m going to hang up my hat with putting this together every year!

It’s been five amazing years, and I loved seeing the progression and growth of everyone who’s been in it! Even if it was only once or for all five years, you guys are the ones who made Nintendask Secret Santa an actuality for the community!

Thank you so so SO much your participation, and thank you so very much to the five lovely people who have been doing this all five years in a row!!!

Nintendask Secret Santa 2020!

We’re five for five!

You may know the drill by now, but if not, here’s a refresher!

The steps to becoming a participant:

1) Have a Nintendask blog (DOES NOT HAVE TO BE ACTIVE)

2) Fill out [this Secret Santa Sign Up Google Form]

That’s it!

Things to note:

-There are REQUIRED MINIMUMS for the gifts:

Drawn art must be either colored (flat/full color is fine) OR have detailed, complete inking (Traditional must be on clean paper)

Written work must be 500 words or more

- There is an option that you can be a helper elf, where you are a backup if someone is unable to get their piece done before the deadline. For this you do NOT have to be a Nintendask blog.

- After compiling the list of participants, I will go through and individually ask participants if they do NOT want to be paired up with a specific person. I understand boundaries and will ask no further questions as to why/why not.

- There will be a weekly check-in where I will check on progress!

In honor of this blog being around for four years, I wanted to do a redraw of sorts. This is more so an illustration of a moment, but it’s one of my favorite moments! From an old old rp with @bigkingbossboo​ where Pomme and King Boo are “married” through mysterious magical means. Oh how far we’ve come. :’)

🦇 (for Pomme?)

Bartholomew opened the door for Pomme and the little tykes, looking absolutely delighted to see them. “Pomme! Oh, look at y’all!! All cute and dressed up!! Come on in- come on in! Make yourselves at home!” He steps out of the doorway to let them in. The whole house is decorated in fun and spooky Halloween decor! There are jack-o-lanterns scattered around, some even floating up closer to the ceiling, Some bats pasted up on the wall and string lights with spooky shapes! It’s all very friendly and fun, and there’s plenty of food out for their enjoyment!

Pomme marveled at the decorations, “Oh Bartholomew! It looks so wonderful!” She turned her attention to him, “And you look wonderful!” She stepped out the way so the triplets could see, “Say hello to Mr. Bartholomew girls! Say hi!”

They eyed the large man up and down. They normally had no problem with greetings, but with all the commotion around them, it took a second before the one in red, Zinnia, finally gave a tiny little “Hi..” and gestured with her little hand to mimic a wave. The one in blue, Bonnie, shied behind the last triplet, Marigold, as she continued to stare in wonder at all the lights and decorations. She especially fixated on the floating jack-o-lanterns.

Pomme beamed, “Thank you so much for inviting us! It’s been a while since I’ve come to visit, neighbor! How have you been?”

Asalie: “I’m so excited to go to a party again! It feels like it’s been a super long time!”

Franklin: “I-if you’re sure it’s a good idea right now…”

“You’re going to hurt yourself! Now stop fussing, you’ll get to play as soon as we settle in!”

Pomme (and beans) have now arrived to @askjunkyardchainchomp‘s party!

Bartholomew: “Welcome to the party!! Feel free to look around and have some snacks!!”

Ernie: “Yea sure, help yourself! We’ve got a couple games around here but go ahead and have fun and whatnot. If you wanna ask about a game just ask me.”

Bartholomew: “Enjoy yourselves above all! Hope y’all enjoy the party!!”
