at a vintage shop lookin at records, about to leave, when i suddenly hear the word "AI" and do a frame-perfect turnaround stealth into fake-continue-looking combo, ears perked.

a bloke, to the woman he's with: "you know suno, that AI music generator, is doing a thing now where you can pay some money to put the stuff you generated onto a vinyl and ship it to you" (this is true btw)

held my breath for what felt like an eternity waiting for an indication of the vibes of these two. does he think this is cool? is this something he used and is excited to share about? does he think this is "the future"?

finally, she puts me out of my misery with the most beautifully sincere, gutteral, piercing "Ugh. Disgusting." i've ever heard in my life.

bloke responds with a swift "i know right how cooked." and we all move on with our retro shoppin.

just wanted to say good clutch to those two. good clutch indeed. we love to hear it.

Recently I’ve revisited a game I haven’t played in a few years called Sky: Children of the Light. When I first joined way back in 2022, the Season of AURORA was in play, which was essentially an in-game concert turned event. I think in Sky:CotL terms, that means I was “born” during the Season of AURORA, which I’m glad for because it turned out to be my absolute favorite season out of any and all so far.

Other than Chonny Jash, AURORA is definitely one of my top artists of all time. Truly recommend you go check her out! I’ll put the song in referencing and the full in-game concert links below this so u can :D

Bit of an extra tidbit that probably nobody but me really cares about— the hourglass shape highlights in his eyes are very intentional. I wanted it to be a subtle nod to the passage of time as a whole, since the song mentions spending time (or months as he puts it) just to be April’s Fool

I've never really understood the appeal of fanfics and AUs from an authoring perspective. Not as any kind of diss, rather a sense of "this doesn't seem too fun to me personally."

...but holy fuck my brain has not been set on fire anywhere near as bad as it is right now from Chapter 5.

I'm far too busy to actually MAKE one, but something has flicked in my brain where I'm like "ooooohhhhh no i get it i get it. fair call. as you were"
