“I understand if you don’t want to help me anymore.”

There was a groan of protest, hearing those pathetic words come out from the man he had all right to be angry with still. He had betrayed both queen and princess. He gritted his teeth, trying to keep his back turned and shoulders square as if that would some how keep out those pleading words. Kristoff exhaled though, maybe because he had some kind of cosmic weakness when someone was attempting to make right. “Fine, fine, I’ll help you, but if you hurt either of them, I’m going to show you how we treat criminals in the mountains.”

"I’m sure its no worse than how we treat them abroad while sailing." Hans shifted, a frown marring his features. His boots scraped at the rough bark of the tree, with the same biting into his palms, gloves be damned. Nearly twenty feet below, was the pungent reindeer king himself; Kristoff, Princess Anna’s beau and all around grouch. Next to the man, stood his just-as-oafish sidekick, Sven.

"—but first, call him off."

He could have attempted to wave the beast away (not that it had worked the first time), but he wasn’t exactly looking to slip just yet, no matter how uncomfortable the trunk of the tree was and how much the bark was cutting into his inner thighs as he waited aloft, wrapped around the trunk.

Hooves pawed at the ground as Sven paced around the tree, horns long since shed with the cold weather setting in properly for once, but he still had the shear bulk built up from pulling both his owner and large blocks of ice around. There was annoyed bellow, and Kristoff chuckled. He hadn’t been allowed to hit the scum bag before, but now he was going to have a little fun at the ex-prince expense. 

He stooped down, rolling up a ball of snow and then chunking it at Hans, hopping it would be a good enough shot to make him slip a bit down to the reindeer who had settled now for almost  throwing its massive weight against the tree until there was a sound close to a crack was heard. That was enough for now and the ice-cutter moved to push Sven back. “Sit boy.” He ordered, gently shoving the beast aside. 

“Let that be a warning, okay? Now do you need me to catch you too?”
